:help: My mother has an old magnetic, spiral bound album that she'd like to keep the cover for when I transfer the photos over to new pages, to better protect the pictures. I was wondering if anyone has advice on how to do this - should I use something to paste inside, or somehow drill holes for postbound, or what.

Thanks!

Hi Sreya - Here's an option for you. It sounds like this scrapbook cover has some special memories or sentiments attached to it, so take a look at The Little Scrapbook Store (http://www.thelittlescrapbookstore.com/TLSS.html). You could try giving them a call. They do EXCELLENT work, are VERY careful and work with what you send them. I'm working on a special scrapbook of my pets. They all have LOVED to lay in "their" chair. I saved the pillows from the matching couch when we go rid of it and will have these folks make a special cover from the fabric. It will be really special the have the cover match so many of the pictures/LOs in the scrapbook. HTH -c-

I'd start at a specialty scrapbook store and get some album ideas there. Myself, I'd probably just affix it to the cover of a new album with construction adhesive, depending on how thick the old cover is. But here's a good excuse to go shopping and be inspired!
