Hi! I am new and just completed the tutorial for making my first computer generated layout. I clicked on the link at the bottom to "learn how to resize" my layout for web posting and it came up with page not found. (I am working in PSE). Can someone tell me how to resize so I can upload it into the gallery? I would like to post it and ask for assistance in correcting a few things.
I am so excited about finding this site. I have absolutely no experience at all on how to do this so can't wait to learn.
Also is there a step by step guide on how to download and then use the freebies?
Thanks
Lauri

The link in the tutorial is fixed now. Sorry about that.
To download the freebies - click on the link. Save it to your hard drive (in a place you'll remember) then use windows explorer and find it. Unzip it. Then you can open them in your graphics program just like it taught you in the first page tutorial.
HTH!
Hello! Just wanted to add Welcome to DSP! So glad you got your first page done. Be sure to paste the link to your layout here so we can all go look when you get it uploaded.
WTG jumping in and getting started. The best way to learn is just by doing, excellent job! Hope you find lots more goodies in the tutorials and freebies section
What software are you using? How was the tutorial to understand?
Be sure to introduce yourself so we can get to know you and enter to win a drawing for posting

I just tried the link again and it is still telling me the page cannot be found. I even tried to refresh and still it is not there.
I am using Photoshop Elements 2.0. The tutorial was easy to follow, however it took me forever to figure out how to see the Layers pallette. There was one part of the tutorial I couldn't find the matching drop downs, but I thought maybe that was for Photoshop 7 and PSE didn't have the same options. I hope this makes sense.
I will post my layout as soon as I can figure out how to resize.

I'm not sure why it isn't working for you. I just tried it again and it was fine. Here is the link though

you can also find it on the main tutorials page.

I put my name on the top of the ones I wrote so people know where to come with specific questions.
Also, it was written for PSE3, so I'll note that. The Styles/Effects Palette is different in v3 than v2, so I'll note the v2 variations too. Thanks for letting me know!
Hopefull you can see the page, the link Amanda posted worked great for me. Looking forward to seeing your work!
WAIT! You mean the RESIZING tutorial can't be found? That link is bad for me too. I'll go fix it, thanks!
