How do I get a grasp on EXIF?

Today I took a closer look at my picture folders...and let me tell you
they are a mess! I need to get organized.


One thing that has me baffled is the EXIF information in Acdsee.
The exif is lost when I...

1) copy an image to another folder
3) when I save the photo as a png for web viewing
and when I edit in PSE for the exif tab is there but
there is no information displayed.


I recently saved a picture from a friend and opened it up in Acdsee and
almost all the exif info was displayed..I'm thinking how'd he do that? :think:

Any input on the topic of EXIF would be great!

Are you using ACDSee 10 or ACDSee Pro 2?

Hi Connie- Thanks for the reply. I'm using Acdsee 9
and was never a member on the Acdsee forums. I just
signed up and am waiting for a reply before I can post there.

Also I looked on the Digiscrap info site but I couldn't find
any information there, and exif didn't come up in the search.

I'll post my question there as soon as I get the e-mail.

And no, we don't have much on exif (if any) on our forums.

Hi!
Reading here reminded me if I ever did register for the forum. I have ACDSEE 9 and still am having a difficult time getting to learn and use it. It seems very time consuming to me to even get organized which I started but everytime I get a new kit forget to include it in organizing in ACDSEE! How can I tell if I did register in the forum? Thanks.
