Our winner this week in the topic "Toys" was Freda - her lovely page Long, long ago (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=232181) was the one you voted for! Congratulations Freda, you win a page kit voucher :)
For next week, the topic is "Photos From My Past" so the topic is WIDE open - no "I don't have any photos" story lol! - I am looking forward to lots of lovely pages!
Post them to the Heritage Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=847) and a link to your LO here in this thread, before the chat which is at 10.00 pm eastern on Wednesday 16th Jan.
Look forward to seeing lots of lovely photos :)

Im first? Whoohoo! heres my layout ---> http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=234229&ppuser=5900
My daughter and I both ended up with guitars on Christmas when we were 3. Its interesting to see the two photos side by side! I guess it could have been used the last two weeks too! Its from a past christmas, and its a toy.

Silly question maybe...Are we allowed to do more or upload only one?

I did a two-pager for this one, but uploaded them separately. The first is Mom & Me at the Mirror (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=234935) and the second is Mom & Me in 1945 (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=234936). This is my first time to do a journaling page to go with a layout, and I like how it will look in a scrapbook, so I want to do as many as I can this way. These uploaded backwards (could it have been me???) LOL, so next time maybe I'll get it right.
These are also doing double duty for SWTS.

You can do as many as you like Janet but don't forget we vote - more LOs from one person could mean less votes per LO

I ran by this challenge by chance...then had trouble finding it again. I love the heritage aspect.
These are some of my favorite memories - anybody remember that silvery tinsel on the trees back then? It took seconds to throw "globs" on and months to get them all picked up.
It's my older sister and I in the lower oval - such memories!

Meryl, I've been participating in Our Heritage for some time now, and when we have to get a picture for a particular topic I can never seem to find one. I'm sure I have one somewhere in a box, but haven't dug that deep yet, maybe. So, just IMHO, I think it's easier to do it this way, without a particular topic, than with one. I had two two-pagers posted (but took one out so I might get more votes on one). That just showed me how much better I can participate without a topic. We can still vote on how well the LOs are done. Does this make sense? I wonder what others think....

Thanks for your page Carti :) You somehow got it into "Heritage - Theme Week" - I have moved it for your's (whilst I was there I also moved Freda's and SuperNana's - hope this is OK?)
The very easiest way to upload to any particular gallery is to open that gallery and upload from there. In the case of heritage - go to Heritage Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=847) > Upload photos, and you will see your page will go straight there :) - keep the gallery link bookmarked!
I have attached a screenshot of what the dropdown looks like from the main gallery.

Here is my LO for the week. http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=235526
I certainly understand the difficulty in finding the gallery because the gallery is listed under challenges and the forum is under chats. It's a little tricky, but I always just follow JD's link.
