I would like to make it but don't know where to start. So thought it I could find some. Maybe an old board would work.
Thanks

Use your camera and photograph a piece of wood or bark -use that - people look at my very strangely when I photograph the concrete, tree stumps, rusty iron.........
people don't look at me too funny when I photograph concrete, but when I start photographing them, they usually get a little freaked out  LOL!
also, my fave sites for texture photos are
www.imageafter.com
www.sxc.hu
www.forrest/textures.cz (these are only 72dpi, so suitable only for small objects)
Have fun with the camera, funny looks, and surfing :D

I took a pictue of the pine out front and the end of a log and got the shape transfered and put together. But.... i don't know how to blend the end into the log. I left the snow on the end of the log because I amgoing to use it for a tag in a snow layout.
Thanks

Thanks all. I got the log done and it looks like a real log. Would you believe it. My husband was in here telling to change perspectives. You can see some of the finished log at

It is so nice that I have somewhere to turn when I get in a jam and I always do. LOL
