Orange Marmalade and MORE Challenge (Jan. 14 - 20)

I'm so excited to post this challenge- be sure to read through this one as there's "a bit more" than the normal posting bonus!!

Use my Orange Marmalade Page Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7332) in a layout and get the Orange Marmalade Add-On Pack for FREE (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=235284) . AND, AND, AND....

if you use Lauren's A Bit of Both Page Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7381) in the same layout... you'll get a MATCHING BACKPACK created by both Lauren and myself for FREE, which matches both kits!!!

Lauren and I discovered that our kits would work really well together, so we decided to create a special EXCLUSIVE backpack. This backpack will not be available in the store. This will be the only way to get it.

Here is my LO. It is of my oldest ds playing clown for the "Special" school I teach at. He is a bit of a performer and really hammed it for this day.

I just plan to move mine to Lauren's gallery after tomorrow. A Bit of Both isn't due until Feb 14th (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=235242), I believe. Lauren does not look in the posts/threads for layouts, she only sends out the posting bonuses from the Gimme gallery!

BUT if I were really needing to put it in both galleries, I would just upload the same picture again, to the other gallery.

Rene and Lauren, you were so right in encouraging us to use these two kits together! I thought the photo worked so well with the colors in the kits, and was so happy to scrap it.

I struggled with a couple things, and would love opinions or advice: does the grouping with the picture of the geese in the bottom right take away from the main picture? And the little journaling strip ... same question?
