T42 Challenge week beginning 17th Jan

Sorry to hear that Meryl is having internet connection problems, so I'm posting this to let everyone know what we did today at T42.
We chatted and explained to several newcomers "what goes on" and did not get around to voting on last week's challenge.

Last week, Meryl set the challenge for this coming week- to do a LO using a "collage" technique. She gave us this example: http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=232938&ppuser=24- yes folks that shows us how easy it is going to be doesn't it? LOL

We should use any kits made by Meryl which are available from the store i.e. not just freebies. The LOs should be uploaded to the T42 gallery and a link should be put in this thread in time for next week's chat.

Thank you so much Jill :) It certainly looks as if T42 is jinxed one week after the other things go wrong. This week was double infuriating, I so battled to drag my eyes open for Heritage only to find no internet - only got back after T42 ended.

I had planned to run though collage techniques in the chat today - but I am sure you can all manage? Great tuts in the tutorial section.

I was unable to make the last chat as I was in Sydney for the week. Thanks everyone for voting for my layout of DJM. I was surprised to receive Meryl's email telling me that it was the winner. A lovely surprise it was.
