Still working on the same layout for which I've posted my other questions.

Resizing: I've got a word written horizontally in round alphas on the bottom of my layout. Is there an easy way to ensure that they are all the same size? So far, I've just kept changing the order of my layers so that I can move one alpha directly on top of another and resize as necessary, but as it is an 7 letter word, it was pretty tedious, and I'm still not sure if they are exactly the same size.

Alignment: I need to ensure that they are aligned and spaced correctly. I linked them together and did the following: Layer>Align Linked>Vertical Centers, then Layer>Distribute Linked>Horizontal Centers (and I tried right edges). However, they are still not spaced correctly. Is this because maybe they are not all resized exactly the same?

This is how I resize-
First link all the letters (alphas) together. Then select that group and drag the corner in to resize. Just remember to hold the shift key the same time you drag your corner to maintain the proportions of the alphas.

Alignment-
I will drag out guidelines onto my layout and work with them. First make sure you have rulers on go to View>rulers. Then you can drag out the guidelines by clicking on the ruler and drag the line out. (I have snap turned on). Then go to View>clear guides when you want them to go away :)

I do things the hard way.... I hope others pop in and explain how they do this.

Are you coming up for AIR, girl? Have your children eaten today? Have you showered...? Wow, you rock!

Okay: resizing. Put them all on together, you know they'er the same size. Link them all THEN resize together. They'll all be exactly the same. Too late? Who cares? They look good, and you can do the link method next time around

Aligning: you want to align them, which you did, but if you link THREE or more layers you can also distribute them. Click the Move Tool and see the last icons in teh Options Bar for distribute and choose some of those. See what happens. Make sure the active layer is the first letter in the row so they all go off of that one.

if you need more help with distribute, just hollder. I'll give more details

Emma gave you a great answer here - but I just want to emphasize when aligning - you must make quite sure that the ACTIVE layer is the one you DON'T want to move - a mistake I keep making. These realign tools are some of the best time savers (& most accurate :0) ever!!) you will love them!
