Hello everyone! I am new to digital scrapbooking and am kind of teaching myself with the help of the tutorials I've found here. I'm using PS 7 and have not been able to find a tutorial on tearing edges....do you know where I can find one?
Thanks,
MaryAnn

Look at "Elements Creation" and then "Papers" first one on the list. There are three different techniques for PS.
okay, I teach two methods of paper tearing in my Intro to Scrapping with PS class, DSU 110, but I know you wouldn't sign up JUST for that :) So I included toooons more good stuff to get you on your way.
Holler with any questions, we love to help. Welcome to DSP, and hope you love this hobby, it's so fun! And I really love being part of the community here, I'm such a homebody I'd never talk to anyone over the age of 6 otherwise ;) Does dh count? 'cause he seems in that age group sometimes...LOL!
again, glad to hav eyou and welcome!

I followed the torn paper tutorial that is posted right here at DSP. It's great, it's easy to understand ... AND ... it works! Just look under The University and then click on tutorials. It's right there. I just did a layout following the tutorial last night.

Thanks Amanda for answering my question! I am trying to find a way to cut a hole out of an image that I am placing on top of a tag that has a hole in it. Can you point me in the direction of a tutorial for that?
Thanks again,
MaryAnn

what are you trying to cut a hole in? you can use your eraser brushes, use your selection marquees or there are other ways too.
