Here's my layout for the Weary Traveler Page. I also tried the blending by removing the background from "Bob & Bob" by the podium and put it in front of the flags. It's my first attempt - so would appreciate feedback.

Hi Nicole!
Phew! I gave it a shot but remember, I have no clue what I'm doing. This is my second layout (first one I used a QC so that was much easier). While making this LO I realized I didn't have the things I wanted to use, like old notepaper and old staples to hold it. So instead I wrote right on the paper and I think it looks okay.

Now to figure out how to add a link! Let's see if it works. Also, is there a way to add a link in the gallery to the products used?

I realise this is a few minutes late. It was my youngest daughter's 16th birthday so I got started late. I was hurrying to get it done and forgot to save. I had it finished except the text and when I started to write it my PSP shut down on me.I would have had it finished by 12 but I couldn't remember the exact blend modes and opacity I used on several layers so I had to experiment til I got them the way I had originally. By that time it was 4 minutes after and it took a few minutes to load. Here it is:
