Kim, I see that you posted at DSI.com. I am sure Connie or Heidi will be able to help you.
The only thing I can think of is- did you perhaps move any files outside of ACDsee PM? When you move something in Windows, Photo Manager loses the tags associated with the file.
If you move things around in ACDSee PM, then it keeps all of the tags and info intact.
HTH :)

I was getting so frustrated with all the problems and it freezing up that I just uninstalled it. aaaaaahhhhhh. All the tags I put in it. I will try it again and if I still have problems I will probably just stick with PSE organizer.

Kim it really is worth pursuing ACDSee, it does take a bit of getting used to, (usually the case with a more powerful program - more to learn) but honestly it is a fabulous program and can do so much!

I finally got it working and I love it. Do you know of any books on ACDSee? I know there are tutorials but I like having a book to look at while I am on the computer.

Not sure of any books, but www.digiscrapinfo.com has a wealth of information and tutorials, and forum so if you get stuck they are really helpful!!

I don't think there are any books either (And don't let Connie see this! She'll want to write one herself :D ). But many of the tuts are in pdfs, you could always print them and put them in a binder.
That is what I did.

I did the almost the same thing faerywings. Although I didn't print things out, I do have them saved to my HD. For the video tuts that I use, I've written a synopsis version to go back to when I need it. I LOVE the videos first learning new things but the written notes are good just for a quick answer! -c-
