I hope I got the wording right?   correct me if I am wrong!

Anyway, this week we have chosen to do pages of relatives who are NOT in our direct line - cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles - a fun topic! See guidelines Posting for the Heritage Challenge (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26806)

Looking forward to your pages!

    Our winner this week was dawn-in-nz for her Wedding Day (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=236934) Congrats Dawn     ..........and I see she is already in for next week her "The Periferals" (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=236982) is already up :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I finished mine today. I can't wait til I collect more packets so I have more to choose from!! They are addictive!

This is my mother's first cousin, Verda. She was such a lovely person and shared her treasure trove of old photo's and family history with me. She gave me this photo of herself and some of her as a child. She passed away last year and this is my tribute to her.

Here are mine for this challenge. My grandfather had 10 brothers and sisters. When he passed away we found out that he had collected photos, newspaper clippings and letters from all of them and even did a little scrapbook using some of them. This is his youngest brother. My parents have recently seen this 'Great Uncle' and his wife of over 70 years. Unfortuately 'Uncle Bobby' has lost most of his memories but 'Aunt Ruth' is still as strong as ever. I intend to send all of the photos on to them after they have been restored.

My uncle was my godfather (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=238064&cat=all&limit=last7). The text in the layout was the last paragraph in the eulogy I gave for him.

This is a "just in case" warning - we are having a simply dreadful time with electricity cuts here in SA - if I don't appear at heritage tomorrow THAT will be the4 reason - NOT oversleeping lol! If I am not there, i know you manage fantastically without me, but here's hoping that all goes well and I get there.
