Hello Meryl. :)
I have been working on Heritage photos lately. My American family from Texas in 1915, and my mother's Australian photos from the 1920s to the 1940s.
Am I in the right place?
What exactly are you all doing at the moment? I can see up above this post where you say baby photos - where do they get posted and are there any kits in particular you are looking at?
This is an area that particularly interests me. :)

Crikey - that was quick. :) I was just going back to add in - and my early life as a child in California.
Super - I have had a ball today working with a plopper kit I got for my youngest son, but am keen to work with others on a project, or idea - like this.
Back to work tomorrow, but will enjoy expanding my knowledge and having fun with my new hobby. :)

This is perfect as a wanted to do a heritage album for my children but didn't think about putting MY baby pict in it...just my parents and older generations! Guess I need to start looking at myself as one of those older generations one of these days! LOL

I am working on a heritage album in the opposite direction!! When my son and daughter turned 21 I made them a large photo album of their life to date. However, since that time the albums have started to deteriorate - many of the photos have discoloured, the plastic is also causing problems etc. So I have decided to redo them as digital photobooks. The beauty of this is that I can add in more photos and memorobilia, plus slides I had forgotten I had, and I am also writing anecdotal comments about the photos. Every few pages I make an appropriate layout to match the selected photos. It is a huge task, and very time consuming as I am new to digital scrapbooking so photo repairs take a long time. But extremely rewarding for me, and meaningful for my children I hope. There are so many instances in their lives as young children that they will have forgotten, but the book will be a reminder of the people and events that helped to shape them into the adults they are today.
Ps Meryl - Have you ever considered running a series of lessons on how to fix photos correctly? Give us a particular set of instructions and a photo that needs work, and see if we can repair. I would find that so beneficial.

Ok, I'm ready to share my picture (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=239201&nocache=1).
Meryl, I thought about this today while I was doing my boring photocopying for school. The kit caught my eye when I saw a preview on Irene's blog a few days ago. It mentioned blue topaz - which has a special meaning for me.
Who we were, and where we came from, contributes to who we are...
Here's my Baby Page. I documented the day I was born (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=239252) with my hospital bracelet, birth record and basinnet ID card, along with my first photos. : )

Can someone tell me how I could adjust the color of the two picts in my layout? They seem sooooo bright. I would love to make them more dull looking. I use PSE.
This is still a WIP because I'm out of ideas. CC most welcome: First Birthday (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=239411&ppuser=19780)

I've just sent you a PM SuperNana and explained how to subscribe to forums. However, I forgot to say that you can subscribe to BOTH a forum OR a specific thread in a forum - if you subscribe to a forum you will get a list of ALL the threads in that forum. Hope you can understand it all.
