Ok....if you have a DD between the age of 4-14 you probably think that I am talking about Hannah Montana with my title of this month's challenge! BUT don't worry your achy breaky heart...I am not!!! LOL....ok, ok no more goofy puns......the real meaning of my title: Let's create layouts that are partially graphic layout in nature and partially paper style. (Sometimes called hybrid layouts) You can be as creative as you want with this and as long as you use at least one DSP product and post a link in this thread by Feb 29th at midnight, you will be entered in a random drawing for a $3.99 store coupon.
SSSOOOOOooo......
Create a layout using a DSP product
Post by February 29th at midnight
And be sure to put a link in this thread
And you will be entered to win a :yahoo: $3.99 store coupon!!!!
:D
Hey! I have a 10 yr old son and I thought of Hannah Montana too! ;)

Gasp....who is Hannah Montana??? Well....do you want the brief version? She is the greatest thing since sliced bread according to my 8 year old daughter. Her real name is Miley Cyrus (daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus) and she has her own show on the Disney channel. :D I am SURE that if it hasnt hit NZ yet she will eventually!!! :)

Well, I'm not expert, but I think this LO of mine is a hybrid (large blended photo with paper style elements.

Hmmm - the jury is still out for me but I'm not sure I much cared for the hybrid style. Although I have other LOs where I've blended a photo into the background so maybe I was just trying too hard on this one.
Nicole - I would like to see some examples of what you were looking for. May have to try this again once I see something to get the juices flowing.

Yay, a twofer--this layout I did for Need-For-Scrap qualifies for this challenge: Vintage Wedding (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=240255&ppuser=61677)
I extracted my husband and myself from the photos, made them sepia, and blended them into the layout. I also took the pink roses from the original photos, extracted them, and then added them to this layout to bring the pinks out in the kit a bit more. I added a number of different overlays to grunge this up some. The rest of the layout is done paper style, or should I say NEWSpaper style! :)
