:( I'm stumped!! I've used Corel PSP X (and XI) for a couple of years now and have had zero problems. I just set up my new Dell Inspiron 530 and now cannot save jpeg files in PSP X. I continue to get an error of "the file name specified is invalid".
Wondering if anyone has had this problem - if so - what can I do?!?! I have a ton of LO's to download to the gallery!! I love my new system ... but ... maybe not so much! LOL!!
Thanks in advance!!

How are you naming the files? Do you let the software auto-control the ending, or are you entering in the .jpg?
Is this Vista or XP Pro on the new computer?
I used a 4 year old Dell at work with PSP X on it up until this past spring, and never had an issue. I'm wondering if there's a software setting here, or ... :gulp: an operating system one.
Does the XI verson work ok?

Debbers, I am letting the system name the files, like I always did. Strange thing is, PSPX worked fine for a day and then I started to have problems.
I am using Vista ... I called Dell last evening to see what they suggested - They don't just "give you" advise, tips, etc. - You have to "purchase" the help. For a whole year of help, etc. it would be $299 (yipes!) OR for one month, $129 - what a bargin!! LOL! I kindly declined ... I forgot that I had purchased PSPXI last year (bought it and then IT didn't work on my OLD system), so I installed that today - uninstalled X and (knock on wood!) things are working great!!
(THEN my email went funky - changed that from Express to Windows Mail and viola' - success).
Thanks for the info Deb!! I may have to pick your brain some other time!

Jill: Did you install all the patches in your PSP? The last time I had to restore a computer, it took several times to check for updates before it was actually done.
I'm glad XI is working better at least.
Man, you expect programs to work BETTER on new computers, don't you?! Not worse!
