To those of you who are surprised about our current weather in NZ - it is MOST unusual for it :yikes: to be so extreme for so long [Global warming???] Our first year here, we could not distinguish between the seasons except in retrospect.

I am SO bummed. I got dressed up nice this morning to go shopping with my sister, beautiful cloudy light outside, took a whole bunch of self portraits and then left for the day. When I got home my husband had REFORMATTED the camera card!!! I'd been so wanting to get some pretty formal portraits as some have been posting. I made the time and had the perfect conditions, but...

Luckily I snapped a couple self portraits when my sister and I were having a starbucks on our way to the shops. This one I cropped and added Virtual Photographer filter.
