Sierra - whichever gallery you put your layouts in, they will always show up in your own gallery when you or anyone else views it. For example, if you put a layout in Tina's Freebs gallery, it will show when you view the Freebs gallery and it will also show when you view the layouts in your own gallery. However, if you upload your layout to your own gallery, it will only show when you view your own gallery. Tina doesn't require you to put your layout in the Freebs gallery because she checks the current challenge thread in her forum to send out bonuses, but some of the designers DO require you to place your layout in their challenge galleries. Hope this helps!!
