I love these kits and am a true newbie. My dh just got me elements and I'm getting lost figuring it out, but it is fun.

I'm hoping I can do this.... kiddos have been sick, so I'm in catching up mode.

Oh, wow, that really was my first post! I can't believe I joined over a year ago. I took a peak at someone's layout from a b-board and was just awestruck. I have been a little afraid to get started because I think I could spend WAY too much time doing this all, but having a software program helps...
I tried doing a layout over the summer and had to do it in word because my program was so outdated- so I've been looking forward to figuring this all out!

It has created more questions than answers, but I'm going to sign up for one of the classes to speed the process along. I ended up setting a time limit so I didn't just keep doing things, as I couldn't figure out how to do some of the things I wanted to do (like easily plop the photos 'iinto' the circle).

I also know it has way too much on it. I have to get one more photo when we visit nana in the summer, since she hasn't met our daughter yet- so I figure I might edit it then as a 2 page spread.
