Hi everyone!

On 2ps you know me as DeniseH... I'm at mom's.. finally got a chance to grab some time on her computer.. (notice that's it's way too early to be up on a Sunday morning!!)... I should have my computer back by tomorrow at the latest.. and will still need to load my programs but hopefully I'll be back on track this week! YIPPEEEE I feel so far behind.

I wanted to say thanks to Amanda and the rest of the group from here at DSP... I've read through the Welcome thread and I have to say that y'all are WONDERFUL for opening your doors to us (why do I feel like a refugee??) :)

You have a terrific site here and I know that we are going to make wonderful progress here learning our new craft (for some it looks like it's going to be an obsession.)

For all you beginner peas.. you are doing a great job and I can't wait to catch up with you. We will have one more week before the next official lesson, but I can tell that some of you are up and running way beyond where we got started. I'm going to post a bonus challenge for the newbies as something fun to do this week. Some of you have already gone way past what I have planned for that.. but maybe it will encourage some of you to try something else new.

I know that there is still a thread going over at 2ps. When I get my email back up, I'll mass email everyone to head over here and we'll try to keep as much of this in one place as possible.

Thank you again DSP for the wonderful support you have given us. And all you beginning peas.. keep up the great work!

You are more than welcome Denise - I thought it was great that you started that thread at 2peas and it was a pity that it got pulled - however im sure you and all the peas will make themselves right at home here - we welcome you all - and this forum will be the better for you!!

I absolutely didn't give up on you... last week was just so bad at work I couldn't even find much time to sneak in and check everyone out.. and without a computer at home.. those long hours at the office were getting bad.. but..

I GOT MY COMPUTER BACK JUST NOW!!!

and the only thing I've done is handle the printer hardware install it did when I connected that.. and got online and came here!! I haven't unpacked.. I haven't eaten since this morning.. and I haven't installed most of my software back on here.. shoot I didn't even look to see what had been recovered!

But I'm up and running on XP.. tomorrow I'll get my Office disks reinstalled so I will be up and running on Outlook etc.. but for tonight I'm just going to surf at my leisure... oh.. I might get Photoshop installed so I can see what the heck I've made y'all do! :)

soooo happy for you. For me, no 'puter is like phantom pain. I keep tryign to come in here and sit down. "Honey, is it fiiinished yet?!" LOL!

You've been so wonderful and a good sport. Thanks to you and Lauren lulusmom, we're off and rolling and having a blast!

And no refugeeing: this site is about facilitating digi scrapping. We love, love new members, we love all this activity. Thanks for getting the ball rolling, and so glad to have you back with us!
