Preferencies

For some crazy reason I have to reset my preferences each time I restart ACDSEE. I like the background dark so I can see the elements etc. and I also hide all the toolbars...but then next time I start it is white background again and all the toolbars are up. :confused: :help: How do I fix this?

Hmmm ... I don't have that problem. What version of ACDsee? Has it always been like this, or is it new behavior?

I have ACDSEE 9 . It started last week I don't remember doing anything different. Maybe I should uninstall and then reinstall. I'll try later today when I have more time.

Well I uninstalled the program and rebooted then restarted my puter and installed it back and now it is not happening any more.:eek:

That is really odd- That happens to me sometimes with my PS-- all of a sudden my scroll won't let me zoom.
If it happens again, post over at Digiscrapinfo- I am sure that they would like to know if that is an issue.

Glad it is back to normal. I guess the wonders of being able to back up and restore a database pay off in this case. Obviously, you would rather to not have to reinstall, but in the grand scheme of things, probably the least painful thing to do.

Some system file could have been "stepped" on by something else or corrupted. Hopefully this is the end of the issue and you won't have to go looking to figure out the problem again.
