DH surprised me with a new laptop!!!

OMG - I can't believe it :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: My hubby was really encouraging me to come to the Adobe Laptop Crop to meet some of my new cyber friends. Even though I was totally okay with coming with my desktop he surprised me and said to go buy the laptop I really want. I'm still in shock. So my new 17" wide screen Dell completely customized with XP Professional (I'm still too leary about Vista), 320GB harddrive and 3GB RAM, is now on order with some big savings thanks to Randi_01's tip about www.currentcodes.com (http://currentcodes.com) :clap: thank you Randi!!!!

I'm so doing a happy dance and I don't think the smile is going to leave my face for quite some time!

That is so awesome!!!! What a wonderful DH you have there! You'll love the 3GB of RAM. I just got a laptop, too, and it works so much better with PSE than my desktop does, which has only 1GB RAM. Congrats on your new Dell!

LOL I've gotten so far as taking it out of the box, getting it plugged in to wall power and booted up, but I had to come tell all my DSP friends that my baby is here! LOL I named her "The Digi-Scrappin Mama's Laptop" - that ought to diffuse any future arguments over whose computer it is :p Ahhh - now to go figure out what it's going to take to get ACDSee loaded up and the backup installed so I don't have to retag all 875 or so DSP kits I now have :eek:
