Thank you so much Sharon and Meg for running this! I started the month really not wanting to do it, hating photos of myself but feeling I should give it a go...and I've loved it! :)

I just want to apologize for dropping out on your girls. I made it to Valentine's Day and then my world went crazy. : ) I had my son's 3rd birthday and my Once a month cooking weekend and a trip out of town and before I knew it I was a week behind and knew I could never catch up. I really enjoyed the first half of the month. Congrats to those of you who went all the way! : )

I missed a few days this week as I was sick, but I am so very proud and excited by my Gallery of Me and the ENTIRE SPAD gallery!!! You all were so enthusiastic and brave!! Well I do have an idea for March - but it will have to wait until I have caught up in the gallery. I don't want to miss any of those cool photos. Thanks so much for your kind words. We weren't sure what the reaction would be and to say that it has blown us away is an understatement! I hope some of those great photos make it into layouts that we can all admire. And remember, you can continue to post self portraits in the gallery - doesn't have to be a daily thing but if you want to continue (or join in!) that would be cool. Thanks again for making this challenge such fun :)

I was going through the fabulous self portrait gallery and just started kind of summarizing the categories of self portraits. Here's what I came up with.

• Artistic filters or effects
• Baby photo and current photo together (hold a framed photo of baby, split faces, extract baby or yourself
• Body parts
• Cloning - many of you in the same. Tutorial: http://www.mrmalique.com/index.php/tutorial-how-to-create-your-own-clones/
• Different locations – at work, shopping, vacation, in a vehicle
• Doing some daily activities
• Environmental - yard, kitchen, etc.
• Formal portrait
• Holding your camera looking into a mirror
• In a scene like framed on the wall, in a computer screen, in an art gallery. For example, http://www.dumpr.net
• Laying in bed or on the floor
• Lighting effects, candles, bounced flash, firelight
• Looking through or into something (for example, rolled tube or camera inside the refrigerator)
• Modified to be humorous
• Of course, at your computer
• Photo with or doing hobbies
• Posed Action
• Reflection in mirror, window, appliances, etc.
• Selective coloring, black and white or sepia
• Shadows & shadow doing something different than you are

Me, I somehow remembered to get a photo, do a LO and post it everyday, but, I rarely remembered to post ithere in this thread. Well, I am proud of myself anyway.

Thanks, I was just DEAD sick with the flu both Saturday and Sunday, stayed home from work Monday and Tuesday, and just got back to work today. I'm feeling so much better than I did over the weekend but still pretty cruddy. If only I had a backup! :)
