Hi, I asked a question some time back about creating fibers in PSE2. Well, since then someone put up a great tutorial on making fibers that I really learned a lot from. But yesterday I found something else that adds a bit more realism to fibers. Now when I do a fiber, I use a fuzzy looking brush. Then I add a pattern to it. I just click the adjustment layer tab on my layers pallette, then choose a noisy looking pattern, (those under textures work well), adjust the scale and close. Make sure your pattern is grouped with the fiber. Then I pick overlay of soft light blending mode. Another blending mode might work well too, depending on the look you're going for and you might want to adjust the opacity. For brushes, I like fuzzball, flattened out a bit and spacing adjusted. I also like grass and dune grass. Others can be used too though. I usually just play around with the spacing and scatter.
