I heard recently on a forum that Richard Lynch has for Hidden Power of Photoshop Elements 2 that he had planned on doing a text handling tool, but decided not too because of lack or interest and the fact that this was included in PSE 3. I'm not sure, but I think it might have been a tool to control leading/line spacing. I'm wondering if a bunch or us PSE 2 users e-mailed him, that he might change his mind. What do you think? Here is a link to his contact page:

I just checked the March HPE newsletter and the text tool that is was working on was described by him like this:

"In other news, two more tools will be released shortly. One is a type tool which
adds in controls that you just don't have in Elements now: tracking (the space
between letters) and leading (the space between rows of type in a paragraph).
There is more to it than that, but the end result is, you will finally have much
better ability to control type in Elements layouts!"

This isn't included in PSE3 that I've seen, but now I'll have to go take another look, LOL! Thanks :)

Emma,
Doesn't PSE3 have a way to adjust the leading in text? I had heard that it did. I wasn't sure if my last post was clear.

Yes, Leading (line spacing) but not Kerning (character spacing). Still hafta use the good ol' space bar for that one! LOL!

Does PSE2 have Leading? I don't think so, but it's been awhile since I looked...
