I heard recently on a forum that Richard Lynch has for Hidden Power of Photoshop Elements 2 that he had planned on doing a text handling tool, but decided not too because of lack or interest and the fact that this was included in PSE 3. I'm not sure, but I think it might have been a tool to control leading/line spacing. I'm wondering if a bunch or us PSE 2 users e-mailed him, that he might change his mind. What do you think? I just checked the March HPE newsletter and the text tool that is was working on was described by him like this:
"In other news, two more tools will be released shortly. One is a type tool which
adds in controls that you just don't have in Elements now: tracking (the space
between letters) and leading (the space between rows of type in a paragraph).
There is more to it than that, but the end result is, you will finally have much
better ability to control type in Elements layouts!"
