Another newbie from Downunder

Hi everyone - another newbie here who knows she's going to be totally addicted to this place like everyone else. I have years of kids photos I want to scrap plus my mum's old photos & biography. Am looking fwd to doing some tutorials and classes and joining in challenges. Can someone enlighten me as to how/where we find out about challenges?

I'm from Adelaide and was born in South Africa, lots of both Aussies and South Africans around and everyone is really helpful and lovely

If you go to the main forum page, each designer has their own thread, where they post their challenges, and there is a special section for challenges that are not hosted by designers.

If like some you come here reasonably regularly you can just click on new posts and you will get list of the new posts since you last refreshed the browser, that way if someone posts a new challenge or adds to an existing challenge you will find it.

There is also a thread called what is happening at DSP that is updated regularly and lists challenges and chats and contests, I will get the link in a sec and add it to my post.

Thanks for the help. There is soooo much fabulous stuff here it's like being in a candy store (or lolly shop for us Aussies). It'll take me a while to find my way around and your assistance is much appreciated.

Love your name!!! It's quite a while since I wore them LOL - Welcome on board, so glad we have another antipodean with us. As you can see we are a friendly bunch and very helpful of course. The tutorials and classes here are fabulous, I've taken just about all there is for Photoshop and whatever software you use you'll find just the right tut or class. I look forward to seeing your LO in the galleries.
