I am very embarrassed about this but I promise I am doing better. :p
When I first became interested in digital scrapbooking sites it was because I was looking for ideas to create pages for a calendar that I make every year for my dad. I was just looking for some new graphics as I was getting very tired of the ones that came with my program. I have made calendars for the past six years so they are getting VERY old! :D
I really only thought I was going to find a few free things and be on my way. When I first downloaded the graphics I didn't pay any attention to any of the notices that came with them or who made them. I was going to only use them for personal use so I didn't think it would matter.
Well, it matters greatly to me now. I realize the hard work and great amount of time and care that is put into each tiny pixel. At first I just put each item into folders labeled background, element, tags, etc., etc., etc... That was very convenient for me to be able to create my calendars but then I started coming to this site more and more and started getting to know the designers and the talented people here. I wanted to post here and share my layouts but found I had really goofed. I had no way of knowing who created what unless their name was on the individual file.
Now I know it is so much better to keep the kits all together and not divide them up. I find it much easier to build my layouts because everything matches and I don't have to go hunt and search to find just the right element! I label each folder by the name of the kit AND the name of the designer so I can see at a glance whose work I am using and who gets credit for that layout! SO MUCH BETTER!! :D
Anyway... I don't know why I am going into all this detail except maybe it will help someone else not make the same mistake. :p
My question is  I am using the black and white checkered ribbon with an attached boy that I think came in my kit that I was given for signing up at DSP. It is so frustrating that I didn't keep that kit together! :( I don't know who created it. Am I on the right track? Am I thinking of the right ribbon? It also had a separate little bow that matched. I want to give credit on a layout before I post it. Hope someone can help,
