Monthly Photographic Challenge - Anyone interested???

Ok guys,

Just wondered how many of you would be up for doing a monthly photographic challenge? Thought it would be a great way to motivate you all & to get some creative juices flowing in our photographic gallery here @ DSP, so whos up for it???

oo oo I'm in!!! I'm getting a new digi cam so I'd love some challenges.

Well, I tallied up all the votes for what people would like to see in the Photo Forums, and #1 was learning our manuals!

#2 was composing photos/design

So could we run a challenge around a little tip or something? Like:

"This month learn how to take a photo with your camera NOT on auto mode! Change one thing, like WB or Fstop or something, or even manual focus". Or have a tip we have to read in our manual to learn how to do on our particular cameras. Force us to dig those manuals out and put our money where our mouths are!

Instead of photographing a particular subject (like a baby, or food, et) we could have the challenge focus on a particular photographic skill, like Depth of Field or or technical adjustments, etc.
