Hey all!!! Starting up the monthly comment thread again! For those who are new to this thread, or just as a reminder (for those like me who need to be reminded of our middle names some days :rolleyes: ), any time you make comments in the galleries, come back here and post (once a day is fine) that you've been out giving love to the layouts. At the end of the month, I will do a random draw for a free item of mine (and we all know that I usually get carried away and pick more than ONE! :eek: ), so the more love you give in the galleries, the more chances you have of winning something!

This week, being our big BIRTHDAY BLOWOUT :party:, I'm going to pop in here on and off, and perhaps...just maybe...give some things out a little early!! Can't help it! So run on out there and spread the love!!!!

I'm going to give this one a go again.
I have 2149 posts so lets try for 3000 .... so splitting it between 20 days [to leave room for bad scrap days] I need 42.55 comments a day. I think thats dooable. :D

Wahoooooo! You are back! So glad you still love us! :lol: I have been chatty as always. :D I had to laugh at the once a day thing, you know that many of are much more chatty than that. Like Vicki LM for example. :lol:

I found this thread too and what a great idea to increase your post count by spreading a little love. I have been surfing the gallery and leaving comments for the lovely layouts.

I vouch for LadyCarolyn! There are very few she missed of mine! I am at 480 and I have leaving comments today! So I will aim for 500 before the day is out!

I'm so glad this started up again! I challenged myself last month and made over 600 comments! I track in the profiles and only count the comments that I do on layouts.

Over all, this month I'm shooting to hit 10,000 posts (that includes everything!)--Think I can do it???? (I'm at 8912 right now!)

just how do you do that scamptx, I looked in profiles and couldn't find anything that tells the difference between comments in gallery and comments in the thread....I just love leaving a little bit of love all over the place, I always comment in the gallerys on peoples lo that only have one or two comments.....

It is strange! I got server busy when trying to get to the gallery just now so I could try to explain about the profile. But when I closed out of DSP, deleted cookies and came in through the blog I got there.

So let's see if I can explain..When you are on the main page of the gallery section, on the right hand side it says home - gallery search - profile -upload photos. Click on profile. That should open a page that has your avatar in the upper left, and a list of options beneath it. One of those is statistics--click on that one. Now to the right of your avatar you should see a nice list of statistics that mostly only bean counters like me care about (I had a boss that called me that once! :annoyed: )--including number of comments. I make a note of that number on my calendar on the first of the month, then check it the last of the month, and wa-la! The difference is the number of comments I've made.

One of the reasons that I had so many last month is that I challenged myself to comment on every single DET entry, all four rounds! We can add obsesive compulsive to the names that I get tagged with as well!

Someone a long time ago posted this information, and I kind of like knowing how many comments I'm making on layouts, since we all know how chatty we grannies get in the thread.

Off to see if I can clear out the inbox!

Thanks Scamptx, I found the spot and I have 4920 comments made up to today so lets see how many I can make it by the end of the month....another interesting bit of info I am across in the same section is how many LO's I have posted, 352 and how many times the lo's have been viewed, 54,268...I am just blow away by that figure...just fancy there is so many people out there that at one stage or another have looked at my LO's...Me thinks that amazing!!!!!:D Thanks for looking DSPers:love3:

I try to comment everyday in the gallery. Now that my computer has been upgraded I think I can do this a bit faster. There is so much inspiration in the gallery that I often spend a lot of time looking at a layout and thinking "how did they do that."

Norma, some of us obsessive/compulsive types do keep track, but it's not a requirement for this thread. Although I'm one of the bean counters, the main thing I like about this thread is that I get an email in my inbox when someone posts, and that kind of reminds me to spread some love.
