another question.
Does anyone here use the newly advertised product by AKVIS for noise reduction?

also what about autofx. software for photographic edges? it seems to do just what I would like, but I am not sure if it is worth. I should add that right now I am using PSE 5 and learning all the time. However, I am having a huge problem repairing old photos (noise reduction, etc. etc.).....which Akvis seems to accomplish very well.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Don't have any advice about AKVIS .. don't know anything about it- and would imagine it depends on what software you're using for your scrapping, if you'd need an outside noise reduction program. I'm thinking on the edges thing that with all the wonderful kits with Edges and Overlays in them, the AutoFx program is very expensive to get about the same results that you could get using DSP edges :)

Abby, sorry it took a while for my reply, I am not feeling great right now.. Thank you for your posting and I have thought about it all and will put it on hold. All of it. As I wrote before I am using Photoshop Elements 5 and perhaps have to learn more about its own capabilities of noise reduction. And maybe once I have a new better camera, it might help also.

Also I am using DSP edges etc. right now and so far my requirements are not beyond it. Maybe once I master PSE 5 better, I will be able to do more. I tend to want to run rather than walk at times.
