Once again we have a publishable sketch from Becky Higgins!! It's due May 2nd, so you have a little less than a month to work on it. It uses LOTS of photos so find a fall event you went crazy at and get to work!

Submission details from CK:
1. Using the sketch as a guide, create a well-executed, memorable layout to submit to CK. Please note: This sketch is for our October 2008 issue. You aren’t required to use seasonal pictures, but they are a plus.
Use solid-colored cardstock, patterned paper or textured paper—whatever works best for your layout. Choose the page size (8 1/2" x 11" or 12" x 12") you prefer. You can scrapbook black-and-white or color photos—it doesn't matter.
NEW!: We're now publishing single pages inspired by one side of the sketch as well. Let's see what you can do!
2. Special Instructions
October 2008 Instructions: Forget about the background on this layout. There is none. For this design, it’s all about the photos! But don’t feel limited. The blocks don’t have to all be photographs. You can create other design elements in place of a picture or two or three. Use your imagination. And take advantage of all that space on the right edge for journaling. There is plenty of it, so whether you use your handwriting or typed text, write a lot. Due May 2, 2008.
3. When your layout is complete, e-mail an electronic version to editorial@creatingkeepsakes.com. Be sure to include "Becky's Sketch" in your subject line. Note: Attached files MUST be less than 300K. Include a supplies list for the layout as well.
