I just got motivated to print out several of my layouts, so I used the option at walmart.com to upload and have them ready at the store in an hour. That part was great, but I noticed that almost all of them are cropped off on the edges, just enough to be noticable and irritating. Does anyone have a quick fix for this? I scrap at 8x10 and print at 8x10 and use PSP8, PSE3, and FF. Is there a setting I can change, or do I have to build a border into each layout?
Thanks for the help!
I haven't yet ordered from WalMart, but have thought about it. Did you download their software? I looked at their help FAQ on editing a photo -
When I order prints, will my photo be cropped to fit the print size?
Yes. To see how your photo will be cropped for a particular print size, click "Print Preview", next to any photo in your cart. You can choose to crop photos yourself, which includes the option to remove all cropping from your photo, regardless of print size.
I'll be interested to see what someone who has experienced this has to say - also, can you choose different sizes like 8" x 8" or 6" x 6"?

This is an old post, so not sure if you got your answer yet, but in my experience, anything that prints edge to edge will chop part of your layout off. My printer does it. I even had some 4x6 prints done at Walmart where I had put some text on the photo, and that got chopped off too. I always leave 1/2 inch or so border around the edge to make sure things don't get chopped. Hope this helps!
