April 2008: Swaps partners LIST and LAYOUTS

Hi everyone, I am going to set up the partners for Lisa. For anyone who doesn't know, Lisa miscarried last Friday, but she wanted me to get you guys taken care of so you still have time for your swaps this month. I am sure she would appreciate any hugs, prayers or wishes on her behalf, she is understandably going through a rough time right now.

You have until midnight, April 30th to post your layouts to the swaps gallery. Please pm your partner for their email address. You then send each other photos. Let them know what size you scrap and give them the date of the photos and any journaling you may need on it.

Remember, this is just for fun. We are all at different levels of scrapping. You may be paired with an experienced scrapper, or even a beginning scrapper. We need to be sure to comment our layouts and thank our partners for doing it.

Please be sure to post your layouts in the digital swaps gallery by march 31st. If you do not get yours done on time, please know that you can't participate next month. Also, if something comes up, just please drop me or your partner a note, and I am sure you can get more time. I try to ensure everyone gets a layout. I am the one who does them if someone doesn't hear from their partner. Be courteous.:)

I'm so very sorry to hear about Lisa, and the loss of her baby. My thoughts are with her and her family.

I just love doing the swaps. This is My fourth time and I look forward to sharing with my partner Caralot. I think the neatest thing is to get to know the other person a bit better than just posting here...its a nice connection and I've so enjoyed the lovely women who have swapped with me these last times...

My prayers are definately with you Lisa, i have personally had three miscarriages, and i don't care what they say no matter how far a long you are it tears your heart out. Just know that you have numerous friends here and if ya need a shoulder i know i will volunteer and i am sure many more will too. Take some time if ya need it too - -we will be here when ya get back.

Chris, thanks for the help with this.

I have a question. What size should we send our pictures as to our partner. If we send too small, they will have to enlarge and if they are too big, then won't go thru sometimes. Is there a better way to send? I've used 'yousendit.com' but don't know if there's a better way. Or if we should just zip them at a particular size??
