I would be interested. Just depends exactly when, the last couple days of September going into the first week of Oct contain important family birthdays so a little earlier or later would make it easier on me.

I would be interested except that I have to prepare for our big national meeting (like a convention) the week of Oct. 13th and I don't think I could take the time that close to it. If it was the weekend of Sept 20th, I maybe could come. Is there a campground nearby? We have a 28 ft travel trailer that we might bring...

That's the middle of football season for us. I'd love to come though because the OH/KY or KY/OH crop was wonderful. I'll keep my eyes on this thread in case the date moves out of football season.

This campground looks like it's about 30-40 miles away... http://www.tomlinsonrunsp.com/ Beaver, PA is located on the Ohio River and it looks like this park is just across the border into Ohio and then at the upper tip of West Virginia.
I'll keep checking...

I would be interested in camping, also. Probably, with gas prices as they are, it would be cheaper to stay at a motel. I will check with him and let you know. Sept 20 sounds about right for me. It is now inked into my calendar.

Marilyn, This sounds great to me!!! Do you mind if I post this in the granny thread?? There are quite a few grannies and GITs who live in the midwest and who may be able to come too. And as a bonus, that is the day after my birthday!!! :yahoo:

Marilyn, I started a whole new thread in the Granny forum (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31827) to keep track of the grannies and GITs going. I'll keep you updated here too. You know us grannies, sometimes if we leave the safety of our own home, we get lost!!!! So I've put a link to this thread in that part of the Granny forum so we can find our way over here safely!!

Hmmm, that's not too far from Cleveland. I might just have to make a weekend of it. I'll keep tabs on this thread and see what life brings within the next couple of months. Thanks for organizing things!

We'd love to see you. I'll probably promote the crop more intensely at the beginning of August.

Unfortunately, I can't make it. Football. Volleyball. Even a hockey fundraiser to throw into the mix.

I'm considering cancelling the crop. There has been an underwhelming response and it looks like my September is going to be insane.
Sorry to hear about your Mom. Please let us know if you decide to reschedule. I had it on my calendar and was planning to go. :)
