GC May: A Bit of Advertisement

I was recently looking through a style magazine and realized that the advertisements for stuff like perfume, shoes, and purses are REALLY unique and cool!!! So....my challenge to you is to flip through ANY magazine that you have in your house, or look at billboards as you are driving, or look on the net for advertisements and create a layout as a "scraplift" of the advertisement you saw!!!! You can tell us in your description about the advertisement, maybe what it was advertising or you can upload a pic of it with your scraplift so that we can see!

There will be a random winner at the end of the month who receives a coupon to the store for $3.99!!!!
In order to be elligible have your layout in by May 31st using any DSP product and link back in this thread!!!

OK I found the right photo...
Now I am sorry it is a sad one but I had to do it and the add I chose inspired me to...I hope you dont mind but scrapping is my way to deal with this right now and sharing it seems to help a little.

Hi all... My ad is a Hummer ad I found and loved for it's simplicity. It really gave me the space I needed for a large photo and a good place to do some journaling right over it... I put it in the Virtual Trip Around The World gallery as I didn't get a chance to do one during National Scrap week. Hope that's ok...

I did one but will have to go looking for a background again.
I found a very simple ad with clear lines to use as inspiration, and the perfect background (no elements so far) and then realized I had sorted the kit in the wrong folder and it wasn't from DSP *head desk*

back to photoshop for another try tomorrow

This is mine, just a memory of an ad I saw on TV recently with a graffiti type background...Ive tried to nab a photo of the ad to go with this LO but it seems it doesnt come on any more.

I think I have encapsulated many of the graphically challenged prompts in this one LO...I have used photo effects, blend modes, obtained inspiration from an advert., used several different fonts, had a lot of fun, and finished up with a bit of a mish mash:D
