Please help me improve my layout by suggesting what you would do to make it more eye-appealing and interesting. This looks very BLAH to me compared to the cool stuff I've seen on the board, and even though I'm a newbie I still want to have super-looking layouts.

I think the layout looks good. If you want it to look diffrent try laying out the photos diffrent and maybe the titles oppisite themselves. hard to describe here email me and i can show you better at what I am talking about

I dont think its Blah at all!!- The only thing i can suggest is that the text looks a bit flat - perhaps giving it a different colour or putting it on a mat or title box - Lets see what others come up with.

I love the feather background and the chocolate & pink color scheme looks great.

I'd try making the brads a little smaller. At least for me, I've found shrinking certain elements can really effect the feel of a layout.

And I agree with Lauren about trying the text on a matte or something (great font!)

I think it is just adorable!! not blah at all. I think lauren's suggestion for the text would be all I could think of too. Great job!!

jewel,
i think the 2nd one you made is much nicer. amazing how dropping one photo -- adding that visual movement -- makes a much better page!
