I found an 8 1/2 x 11" cardstock, but I'm having trouble printing with it.

The paper is Wasau Bright White 65lb paper and I'm printing with an HP Officejet6210xi All-in-One printer.

I'm using the photo printing color ink and create my pages with PSE 5.0 in Adobe RGB color.

All of my prints on this paper appear dull - the colors aren't vibrant and the picture isn't as clear as I would like...I have had good luck printing on Kodak cardstock but the paper appears to have been discontinued.

Can anyone offer any resources that would help me find better print settings?

Thanks!
Lisa

I've resigned myself to printing on glossy photo paper...I called HP and they wanted to charge me $35.00 just to let me ask how to set the print settings...not worth it to me...someday I'll get my act together and order 12x12 prints instead.

I recently purchased 12x12 photo card stock paper from Hawk Mountain. I am very happy with it. I had the same problem with printing on regular card stock. I use an HP 8700 printer and they look great. You might want to do some test prints. If you have your DPI set too low the page can look dull, if you set it too high the colors will be too dark. Play with your settings.

I have been very pleased with the paper. The paper is usable on both sides, but I prefer to be able to rearrange my scrapbooks and only use one side. I bought two packs of 100 pages each for around $53 S&H was aprx $11. A week or so ago they were doing a sale, too.

Cardstock isn't meant to print photos. You really need to print on Photo Paper and we always recommend printing on the same brand of paper your printer is for optimal printing (the paper and the ink are designed to work together to get the best results). Always print on your best settings as well.
