Am a newbie

And am in total darkness when it comes to scrapbooking!
Am Holly and live in Ohio (Liberty Center) Married to a great guy (Jerry) He takes to all the craft shopes and set why I go in and shop. Always backs me in whatever I want to do or try. Even if he knows that I will fail in trying it. We have one son (Matt) grandson (Jake) and the mother (Tami). Don't get to see then to often. Me and Jerry worked or works highway and airport construction all over the U.S. I drive and haul heavy equipment for the company. But we got laid off this pass Sept, I always take a layoff but Jerry works, but he got laid off. And it is't looking real good yet as work is slow. But that was okay as we got allot done at home. Since we are only here one month out of the year. And that is the month of Dec.
I will leave it at this for now. And will post agian in another thread for looking for help and answeres.

Hi Holly and welcome to DSP. Sorry to hear about your layoffs - that must be stressful. Have you checked out the Start Here link at the top of the page? It leads to a lot of useful info for beginners. Also, if you have any questions or get stuck, just post a question to the forum. We have all been beginners at one time or another and there is always someone around to help :)

Or just post a question here - there's always someone around to answer them - I found the tutorials (start here menu) a great help when I first started out and they are free which we all like right ;) - I hope to see your layouts soon.
