Thanks so much to those who came to heritage this morning (for me), last night for you - I so enjoyed it!

Our winner this week was scamptx - Every Generation Plays (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=260893) - do take a good look, her hand colouring of the photo is just superb! Congrats Scamp, your page is beautiful, as soon as I have your name, used and email address, emailed to me at prizes@dsplace.com I will send you a voucher for a page kit.
Thanks to ALL of you for the lovely leisure pages pages!

 :yahoo:  :yahoo:

The topic for next week is Jewellery - amazingly, nobody recollects having it this specific as a topic before? We could be wrong? Anyway, I look forward to seeing lots of lovely pages.

Post them in the Our Heritage Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=847), and a link in this thread.

awww.... I just recently told my mum I wish they would have kept some of my grandmas jewelery. I wouldn't wear it (big and gold, not my style) but I used to play with her huge jewelery box for hours on end and would have loved a reminder...
nothing from me this week I guess ;)

Create a LO with no pictures, kiddo. The joy you found in playing with your grandmother's jewelry sounds like a perfect journaling story!!

Hope I can get a LO done this week since my scholarship work is winding down. I have the perfect piece of old jewelry.

Yes, as Omi says (W.O.S.!!) be creative - journal, find pictures, or details which remind you of your Gran's jewelery - I actually have the perfect QC on its way to the store - whatch my shelf lol!

Very bittersweet because I found out that my mother has given the ring to my sister:cry:
