okay then ladies how do you decide what you will submit for publishing? do you submit just your favorites or do you pretty much submit everything hoping something they will like. Do you use scrapsubmit, or just send individually yourself to a magazine. Basically I want to know your published story from beginning to end

I usually go through Scrapsubmit and I usually only submit for certain calls. I submitted a ton of layouts for their Digital Issue #3 - it was one of those layouts that they chose to publish in their March/April issue under their Our Readers column. And, it was actually a layout that I didn't think would get chosen at all - I just kind of threw it in there since I was submitting a ton already. Unfortunately, they didn't choose any of layouts for their Digital Issue #3 :( .

*sigh* - I keep submitting though - you just never know!

I also go through scrapsubmit.com. I submit stuff for specific calls for the most part, but I keep in mind that pretty much everyone has said they're surprised at what gets chosen. So, even if it's remotely related, I send it in.
