Hi there.I just bought photoshop elements 3 and have no clue what i am doing. Here's what i need help with... I have a new background in my workspace and i have 5 photo's in my photo bin at the bottom of my workspace. How do i drag my pictures to the background in my workspace?when i use the move tool to drag a picture up there then that picture replaces my background i have there already and the background goes to the photo bin.does this make any sense?I cant figure out how to put photo's to a background already started. Please someone help me!
So glad you found us! We are the Frustrator-Buters, LOL! Check above under The University>Tutorials>Creating your First Paper Style Page for PSE and follow that. Ask back here with any and all questions.
Likely what is happening to you is you're just viewing/maximizing photos from the Photo Bin. That just shows you what is open. To put something on a layout/new image, you have to drag or copy/paste the image onto the new image. The tutorial will walk you through that! Also, don't look at the images Maximized. Click the icon with the two little squares, next to the Close X icon, to see many images on your Active Image Area at once. The Windows will all overlap.
Again, holler if you have any questions on the tutorial. Welcome to DSP! We're here for ya :)
