Thanks Jill for starting this thread - you are so quick :)
The winner of last weeks Challenge was to scraplift me - I was thrilled and honoured to see the lovely pages which were produced - thank you all! The winner was decided by a lucky draw - and i am glad to say that one of the T42 "regulars" was this weeks winner Baflein, who did the page Baby Born Doll (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=263594) - well done Baf! Your prize is my new Quick Click - Handcut (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8249.html), so you are all set for this weeks challenge!
Yes, this weeks challenge is to give your page a "hand cut" look ie make some of the papers and or photos look as though you had cut them with scissors rather than with a computer - computers do things too perfectly sometimes! These type of pages are just great for those everyday, non-spectacular photos which you want to scrap, and don't we all have loads of those?
Jill has a lovely page done - He Loves Tractors (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=263805) and I have two, which are here (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=262424&ppuser=24) and here (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=261864&ppuser=24)
I have a QuickClick in the store which is perfect for this challenge - it has handcut squares, lots of handstitching (included) - you may use it if you choose, but it is not a requirement!

A few ideas:
~ stitching looks good, the more irregular the better, my Stitched With Love - Slightly Untidy Embellishment Set (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2486) would be perfect, as is the stitching in the QC.
~ use your pen tool (don't say ugh! - give it a try!), lasso tools, especially a polygon type (one that does straight lines) not a marquee type tool to "cut"
~ any little patterns contribute to the hand made look - my Essential Heritage Range (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&keyword=essential+heritage&search_in_description=1&categories_id=&inc_subcat=1&manufacturers_id=15&pfrom=&pto=&dfrom=&dto=&x=32&y=8.html), Special Things Page Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2305), Grannys Linen Page Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2708.html) are some that come to my mind. Felt is also good!
I look forward to seeing your take on this weeks challenge!
