You guys cracked me UP!

So, so many people have asked me why that last kit was named "Dirty Old Shoe..." Which REALLY makes me giggle... Because I WISH I had some great story to tell you about the name............ But in all truth, I just kept thinking that it all looked like a dirty old shoe like you'd find by the side of the road....... Just one shoe, though, you know? I see stuff like that and wonder, "who in the world is walking around with just one shoe?"

I've always heard tell of a worm hole that sucks single socks out of the dryer and deposits them all along the road. Hmmmmm...I wonder if that's true for shoes??? Just something to ponder! :rolleyes: -c-

I wonder that everytime I see one... and it happens in every country!
I've seen them in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, US....
I always wonder who would throw away one shoe?
Are they hanging their feet out of the window?
Stop to take a wee and lose them?

Speaking of just one shoe .. there have been five shoes wash up on beaches around our area with the foot still in them!! Causing some kind of consternation, I can tell you!! The first four were all right feet, and the one this week was a left foot. How bizarre is that!! We're talking about around and about Vancouver, and Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. I'll never look at your kit in quite the same way Suz!! :)

Eeeeeewwwwww, seriously? Are people turning up in hospitals minus a shoed foot? That is almost beyond bizzare, Abbs, YIKES! *I* will never look at that kit the same way..... EEEEEWWWWWWWWW!

As long as it just LOOKS like a dirty old shoe and doesn't smell like one! Thank heavens we don't have scratch and sniff scrapbooks....yet!

This reminded me that there is a nationwide contest for the worst pair of shoes (looking and smelling) and the last two years two teenagers from Tooele Utah won (as a state, we are so proud!). :lol:
