Okay, so DSP can't post a list of attendees for the Adobe crop (how nice of them to protect our privacy), but we can reveal our intentions ourselves. However, the Adobe thread is getting so long it is hard to wade through...so...

Shout out here if you are going. I'll update this first post with an alphabetical list of names so we can all get excited. You'll only be on the list if you post here though. And please, let's not derail this thread with chatting and excitement...do that in the original thread!!! Yippee, let roll call begin!!!

I have been without Internet connection and no email since Tuesday!
After contacting my ISP which I did everyday since I finally was informed if you got Microsoft New Service Pack III it interfered with Zone Alarm if you have it. So was unable to get anything.

I was worried cause I figured some information would be sent re Adobe LapCrop top and sure enought found email today. I had to uninstall Zone alarm before I could get on Internet or email! I printed out all information I could right away.

I am supposed to call Microsoft and have them walk me through uninstalling the Pack or see if they have a patch. I sure don't like being without Zone Alarm, Iwonder if one has other virus protection they would be affected by this.

I hope after all this I won't be without Internet connection again cause in the past when things like this happen it takes awhile to get your computer back to how you had it!
I don't understand stand why they don't inform you that this may happen. I certainly was unaware of any problem.

I am arriving Thursday night and spending Friday morning and however long looking at a couple of cemeterys. I am looking for my grandfather's uncle and his grandfather and grandmother. I know they died in San Jose and have wanted to hunt for them but never have had the opportunity! Anyway, I may be in one room the first night and a different room the next.

If some of you are coming in early and are looking for something to do on Thursday evening, be sure to check out Music in the Park which has been a San Jose tradition for 20 years. It's a series of free concerts from 5:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m at Plaza de Cesar Chavez (Market Street between San Fernando and San Carlos streets.) People bring blankets to sit on and they sell food there. (Maybe you could bring a towel from your hotel!) This Thursday is Vanessa Carlton. Surprisingly, considering the close proximity I live to the park, I have only gone once to see Smashmouth last year. It was crowded but fun!

I am sure there are a lot of other people attending from San Jose, but after reading the posts here I realize there are a tremendous amount of people attending from out-of-town. I’m from the San Jose area and I went to San Jose State so in comparison to most of you I am a San Jose expert! If you come in early, and you don’t mind hanging out with my 4-year old twins, maybe we could get together on Thurs or Fri and I can give you the “back roads info” on the area—like the fact that they have had Christmas in the Park in Plaza de Cesar Chavez for 20 years, that Hotel De Anza was the tallest building in San Jose until just a few years ago, or “when I was a kid” the San Jose’s Holiday parade was this rinky dink little thing and now it’s one of the top 25 holiday parades in the country. Can you tell I’m a little proud of my city? Or we can just get a coffee since, as Carti said, you might be lonely. I’ll turn into a pumpkin at 7 or 7:30 pm since that’s when I’ll have to start putting the boys to bed.

This is what the AutoClub book says about the Winchester House - The Mansion tour includes a 65 minute guided interior tour, a self-guiding tour of the gardens and entrance to two museums containing collections of Winchester rifles and other products. The 50 minute Behind-the-Scenes tour shows how the estate operated when Winchester lived in it. The Estate tour combines the Mansion and Behind-theScenes tours. Allow 2 hours minimum. Daily 9-7 Tour times vary. Mansion tour $23.95; Behind the scenes tour $20.95; Estate tour $28.95, there are senior (over 65) rates also. Mansion located at525 S. Winchester Blvd.

I would enjoy taking the tour, but it depends on what time. I have to drive back home which is a 6 to 8 hour drive.
