New Rules: Each week will still have it’s own forum but there will be no specific start and end date for each week, you’ll have the whole month do all 4 layouts in whatever order you want or even just do one layout for the whole month, it’s up to you. But remember the same rule applies to be in the draw for a $3.99 coupon at the end of the month – you must have submitted 4 layouts (1 for each week) and placed a link in that weeks forum. Your LO can do double, triple, whatever duty as long as I have a link in the weekly forum.

Week 3 – Tall Tales… is all about story telling, but not in the normal journaling sense, we will be using different categories to tell our stories. Extract from 42explore “A tall tale is a uniquely American story form that features a larger-than-life, or superhuman, main character with a specific task, a problem that is solved in a humorous or outrageous way, exaggerated details that describe things larger than they really are, and characters who use everyday language. Many tall tales are based on actual people or on a composite of actual people.” So for this week’s challenge our stories can be as creative as you like, go BIG - Exaggeration is the major element in tall tales.

Create a layout using the prompt below and upload it to the Oh! My Word (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/showgallery.php?cat=5864) Gallery. Check the introduction to this challenge here (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31603) for clarification.

Tall Tales prompt for this week is: When did you last win a raffle/lottery and what did you win. Remember - Exaggeration is the major element in tall tales.

:)Some Clarification for the prize: This is a 4-week long challenge with a different theme each week. You can decide whether you want to create a layout for one or all four of the weekly challenges it’s totally up to you. However, if you do enter all four weekly challenges you’ll be in the random draw at the end of the month for a store coupon to the value of $3.99. Example - 4 layouts, one in each weekly challenge. For the rest of the challenge introduction check out the link above.

Some really simple rules:

* Please use only DSP products
* Ploppers and QC’s are OK
* Must include some journaling or themed title
* Your LO can be ANY style, even a none traditional style, a style all your own, in fact, let your hair down and go creatively wild!
* You can have any number of photos or none at all
* Your LO can do double duty as long as you put a link in the forum for that week, especially if you intend to do all four challenges. How will I know to include you in the draw otherwise
* Please comment generously on other member’s layouts in this challenge. I know I don’t really need to ask you that because you’re all so good at it anyway.

Have fun with this challenge - anything goes... :yahoo::yahoo:

I know you said tell a Tall Tale, but I was inspired to "bust" a tall tale. I hope that is ok - The truth about Paul Revere (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=268879)

Well, I didn't do too well coming up with a tall tale. Everything I tried just bombed on me. So I ended up taking the lottery or gambling aspect and put together a little LO.
