I'm looking for a PSP tutorial I found awhile back about the Brushes palette: in it he uses animation, purple brush strokes, that show what the variance palette does. So for fade the brush will actually fade in and out, in a GIF, to show how the stroke will paint with a certain feature.

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Okay, I admit publicly that I'm a complete idiot, because here's the one I was looking for:

Do you see any animations?! And I see very little purple...LOL! Oh, well, at least I found it! Yay! And in the process I found this MONSTER one too

Have fun!

OK, this one rocks even more. A little more concise, but somehow has more info

Anyone have any others they like?! This is fun :)

I figured this out a while ago because when I played with the default brush Spiky Twirl Small, it's variances were set different then most of the other bushes and it created a really neat brush stroke, since then I have seen many fibers that seem to be made using this brush. If you use different Gradients or patterns with it so much more the cooler!! :p
Also playing with the Blend Mode changes it further yet!!
