Canon Rebel Question

How the heck do I turn off the flash on my Canon Rebel? Someone told me years ago but I just started using the Rebel film camera again and I feel lost. Thanks for any help!

Finally found an answer! Turn it to the "P" mode, for Program. Got it. Now, if I could just find my manual, all my quetions would be answered! LOL

you can order a new one from canon for like $8, I had to do that with my Rebel G I used to have.
