Best Papers

I'm making my daughter's 1 year birthday invitations and my neighbor's baby's birth announcements. I'm really excited about these and have been having much fun designing them, however ~ what do you think the best paper would be? I don't want the brand on the back. Epson papers does that and I have an Epson 1400 printer. I know Kodak makes professional paper, which one of those do you think would work?
