I've been using it for about 4 months and love it. But...when I call up my fonts to use, they used to have the name of the font below it. Not they don't. I haven't been able to find out how to fix...any help would be appreciated. I'm afraid if I fix them I might screw something else up. My kits are named perfectly so I'd hate to ruin that.

OK, what you were probably seeing before is the filename...those don't always match the font name so my tip is to go ahead and put the font name into the Caption field (and if it's downloaded, put the site or designer name in Author for adding to credits.)
If you've recently customized ACDSee to display Caption and Author but not filenames, your font filenames will seem to have disappeared. You can put those back onto your thumbnails but that will apply to all of your images as well...Go to Tools|Options then find Thumbnail Info under the File List on the left. Check the box by File Name and those will reappear. Using Caption to record those font names lets you keep that turned off if you like and also properly identifies the ones with mis-matched filenames.
Now there are a few more things you can do to customize how your fonts display...it's a little bit buried but here's how to do it: go to Tools|Plug-ins|Plug In Settings. In the image decode tab click on the line that says "ID_Font.apl" and click on Properties. Now you can set the sample text and the text color, size, and spacing.
Hope that helps you understand and use ACDSee Photo Manager better!
