Shana - if you were hanging here all day, why didn't you come to Sunday Chat?

*cowers* I uh...fell asleep. I'm sorry I really meant to make it this week too. :(

Ooooh oooh oooh *raises hand* I missed you! I'm glad you had fun. :D I bet the both of you needed that pretty badly. Pictures of Gary spray painting the Cadillacs coming?

I thought they had a shorter week too at first, so I'm right there with you.:rofl::rofl:

Well, I have a photo of Gary PRETENDING he's spray painting Cadillacs. Does that count? We didn't take any spray paint, but there were lots of empty cans laying around, so he picked one up and pretended it was him who painted the romantic purple :love1: on one of them.

Oh Chris - gotta question for ya! That Alpha that you used in the Autumn Flair kit for the title - do you have that in the store, will you put it in the store? Or can you at least tell me what font you used? (Of course, it probably wasn't free so I'd still have to buy it, huh!)

okey, dokey! THanks for the heads up. If I change the gallery, will I have to update my links? or will they still work? And stop putting reminders in the Multiplicity thread before somebody comes in a steals the lead from me! just kidding. I've been waiting for Shana show up any time now with about 30 ploppers. Seriously though, I really love your kit.

Good job on getting your SWTS pages done, Lisa!! You rock! I'm glad I got mine finished because I don't think I'll have a chance to scrap at all this week. It's lookin like one of "those" weeks. :p

I'm a little bummed about my tablet. :( The main reason I went ahead and got it was for my job, doing embroidery digitizing. I had hoped that it would help with the pain I have been having when I work for the past several months. I may be just shifting my pain to a different set of muscles though. Maybe I just need more time to get used to it.

WEll, have a good Monday, Gundi Girls!

Awesome photos

Again... you've probably done this before, but how does one do a meter reading?

When shooting in manual AND shooting in the SAME LIGHT as the subject, I took my meter reading from the sky-- aim the camera at the sky, depress the shutter button half way and then adjusted so the meter read at 0... tnen focused on the subject and took the shot WITHOUT making any meter adjustments after the fact. I do it this way because I want to control the shutter speed.

In apeture priority, the camera will automatically set the meter to balance the available light.. and set the shutter speed. if you need to adjust you would use your compensation adjustments. In the case of the water, I saw the shutter speed was about where I wanted it to get that silky water... it's a faily slow speed so tripod is necessary...

Either way will give you the same results.. you just need to watch the shutter speed.

If you are in the shade and shooting INTO the light, then you need to use manual all the way for the best exposure otherwise you can get wicked silhouetting from the darker areas.. and that may NOT be what you are looking to do.

All the water shots were taken using a circular polarizer to reduce water glare.

carolyn d

So you don't actually have a piece of equipment that's called a meter reader :think:HAHAHA ! You have one built into your camera ! A light meter ( incidence meter ) is a handy little thing if you are using multiple flashes--it helps to balance the flash output onto your subject...

The ONLY thing I would critique is moving him to the right so all the flowers/leaves become the SOLE background tones/colors.. there is a very dark shadow growing out of his head ! I love the positioning and your angle of view. The hardest thing i have learned is to actually SEE EVERYTHING in the frame !

2010 Workshop ScheduleShare

I have attached my 2010 Photography Workshop to this email and I am sure you will agree there is something for everyone this year. I will have ALL the workshop details ready to send out by the middle of next week, but for now, and as the saying goes, The Early Bird Gets the Worm. So, if you are at all interested in one or several let me know ASAP. These workshops will fill up very quickly, particularly when I send out the much larger email late next week. All you need to do at this point is reply to the following email address:

bryanfpeterson2@mac.com

and indicate your intent to attend and I will place your name on the list for that particular workshop. Then, late next week, you will receive the Pay Pal $100 Deposit request along with the PDF file that explains the workshop details in full.
Once you have received the Pay Pal Invoice and the PDF file of information, you will have 72 hours to secure your spot with the deposit. If the deposit is NOT received within 72 hours of sending it out to you, you will lose your spot.
I am really looking forward, as always, to making new friends in 2010 and seeing those familiar faces as well. Any questions? You know what to do-send me an email: bryanfpeterson2@mac.com.
To those of you that have already "reserved" your spots in one or several of the workshops on the 2010 List don’t fret. Your spot is secure and there is no need to sign-up again.
Also, some of you reading this have signed up for a workshop with me in 2010 and you may not find that workshop listed on the attached schedule. Rest assured those workshops are taking place and they are not being listed here because they are already full e.g. Cape Cod in May and the first Provence workshop in June. Again, if you already signed up for either of these, rest assured, the workshop is taking place and your spot is secure.
All my best-
Bryan F Peterson

Yup... because the light was awesome and even all around... just setting the ap to it's largest number literally guarantees a slower shutter speed.. but you def need a tripod ! I solved this! When doing a lot of scrapping/digitizing, turn the touch off! Then you can rest your hand more appropriately and it really takes a lot of the strain away! OK, well then the Font is in the store as Radical Rodents (should I add it to my cart or will you be making the Alpha so I don't have to cut all the little pieces of paper myself!)

And I wondered the same thing! Is it because she doesn't know how? Seems like she is a better photographer than that!

Well, I got my SWTS LOs done! 10 in 2 days and all linked and loaded! WooHoo! I may just go read!

Alpha is done just need to finish packaging and upload :)

oh my heck! Funny story about that font! I looked at my font and it said Dadical with a D. Double checked the store and it said Radical with an R so I am way scratching my head. Emailed Suzie to see what was up and found out she changed the name between when she gave it to the designers and when it went into the store lololol!

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Here's some madness from Day 2 in downtown Portland. Basically learning various techniques.. so these are really awful for the most part. But the techniques are really interesting so thought I'd share.

Way cool photos, Carolyn! I love the one with the leaf in the fence, but my favorite was the metro train. And that was Bryan posing? Are you back home now?

I solved this! When doing a lot of scrapping/digitizing, turn the touch off! Then you can rest your hand more appropriately and it really takes a lot of the strain away! Much better than the old mouse! I think you will find that it will help a lot! My hand feels way better and I did just do 10 pages in 2 days!

That's not really the problem. When I digitize with my mouse I use left click, right click and a side thumb button set to Enter. The strain I have been having seems to be coming from using my ring finger on the right click. On the tablet I am having trouble making a right click work for me. It's a pen button, but you have to be hovering when you click it, not touching the pad. Any suggestions? Maybe I try right click on a tablet button instead. Right now I can't seem to remember what my buttons are set to :p

First - yes, that is Bryan posing! I recognize him from that video she posted.

Second - there is already a button programmed for right click. It's the big one at the bottom. If you set your tablet right in front of you or in your lap, it would be an easy tap with either hand (if you want to use just your right hand you could easily use your thumb, pen still in hand to tap it!) I think that would ease some of the strain. It takes a lot of practice to get the right click to work right on the pen, and the way I hold it, I find that button is always outside of my reach! I do that with pens/pencils too. For some reason they always seem to spin a little as I write/work. Chris said she uses her index finger for that button, but I find if I consciously place it under my thumb it stays in place better and I am getting better at making it work right!

It will only be separate we decided we would do only one type of value collection for each series so it wouldn't be too confusing to have multiple permutations of the same thing. Since the 2 kits are already a VC I would have to remove that one and add the one with the alpha and Kim might have to glare at me. Lol plus some people will be confused why their vc was different etc so long story short the alpha will be a single only :)

I'll play around with it some more. I'll twist the pen around and see if it works better under my index finger. That sounds like a good idea. I am used to using my right hand for right click, so it will take some adjusting. I guess I'm just frustrated because I was too busy today to play around with it and see what would work for me. This is NOT the right week for me to be making changes. It's getting busy in the shop! DH came by several times today to ask how my tablet was working or question why I was giving up already. But I am not giving up!

Reading this makes me question: Are you a leftie? Although I'm not, I do have the tablet in the left hand configuration. I use my pinky to operate the buttons on the tablet itself. It takes some getting used to, but when I'm penning it and I have the touch turned off it seems to work best for me. And by putting it in this position I can move it around better as the cord doesn't get in my way! Also, if you are a leftie, you can ask Carolyn. She's a leftie too, but I'm not sure her tablet (which is much older) can be set to a left hand configuration. At any rate, when you set it up for a left hander, it puts the buttons on the right so that would make them accessible to the right hand!

Now that I've made that clear as mud!

Oh Carolyn - see how you have rubbed off on me? First "Cool Beans" (which if you don't know, she says all the time, and now the "clear as mud" verbage she love to use!

I haven't had a lot of time to go back and catch up a lot today, but wow, Carolyn, those are cool shots. You amaze me.

Looking at my photo of the Cadillacs, what would you have done differently? My goal was to shoot all 10 of them down the row, but was not able to do that because people kept getting in the shot, so I shot as many of them as I could without people in the frame.

No, Lisa, I am not a leftie. And yes I wish the cord were on the other side. I don't think I could manage with the buttons on the right though. I have no idea how you are doing that with your pinky! I use Enter and Tab while working too, so Iprgrammed the top two buttons for those and use my left hand. Pinky? Really?

And given the circumstances with the damn people- you did fine... maybe cropped it a bit tigher in the camera so the cars filled the entire frame, but it's a matter of taste and uncluttered working distance... sometimes you have no control and do the best you can.... So basically, the image is just fine as it is ! those cars are really neat !

When you shoot your next image of that style, set it up the way you want it and then zoom in a bit more... see if you like it better ! A "guideline of thumb" (as opposed to a rule of thumb) is get close and THEN GET CLOSER !

Thanks!!! I have a hard time knowing what to do in regards to filling the whole frame or not. Sometimes when I have a photo that fills the whole frame, and then decide I want to scrap it with a round frame or anything besides a rectagle, I can't do it because the frame cuts off too much of the photo, so I wish I had left some space around the main focus of the photo. I guess the answer to that is to take lots of photos with different perspectives.

I'm not sure if I can really post that image because he can't sign any model releases due to contractual issues...so I may have to un-post the image at some point... but I just wanted to show you guys how cool that looks...

If you want to do something like that, have someone stand on a busy street, focus on them and then shoot the image when a bus goes by ! It's wicked cool... ISO 100-200, aperture priority if you want, and set that ap pretty high which will guarantee a shower shutter speed... and done !

Yup, if you are taking the shot to scrap, you do need more breathing room at the edges, but if not, then really fill the frame ! Ya know, you can always resize the frame and/or angle the photo so even if its a filled frame image, you can use it .

Last week I chaperoned on a really fun field trip with my son's class. They went to a National Marine Sanctuary. They thought it was the funnest field trip ever they have been on.

Like she couldn't see the honking big lens that Carolyn had in front of her and think, "Right, picture taking!" and move out of the way. Carolyn-have been looking at Bryan's 2010 schedule and just wondering ...does he suggest places to stay or are you entirely on your own.he makes the hotel arrangements.. and because he is reserving multiple rooms, there is usually a discount as long as you are there during the course. .
He gets the rental vans for transport from location to location, so there is no need for a rental car as far as the course goes. if you are staying on after the course, you would need a rental.

Checking in to say hi. Kinda been having some anxiety and stuff the past few days. I know it's from the Ethan scare, an aunt told me itsnormal but I hate it! I want to quit worrying and feel normal. Hope all is well for you!!

Heather - I know I can't suggest a stiff drink, and Chris might kick me out of the thread if I suggested some good cold medicine (for you, right before you went to bed), so I guess I will say this:

Take a deep breath, have DH watch the kids, climb into the shower, and have a really good cry! Sometimes you just gotta do it! Repeat as necessary, because it's gonna take some time!

Hugs, GF!

You all have helped me out SO much, I don't think you'll ever know what you have all meant to me in all of this. I think I have been extra stressed because I know something is wrong with him. He cries ALL night and I am getting no sleep. It's been hard for me to make and apt. because what do I tell the doc, "he's happy all day and cries all night????" So I just said I'm taking him in and guess what, both of his ears are infected. Poor kid, I can't imagine how bad that must hurt to lay down with that kind of pain. I told the nurse I hope I don't see her again until Dec. for his well check up!

Well dang! I seriously did NOT SEE THAT TREE TRUNK until u pointed it out :( thanks for showing me. hipe you did not think I was being hyper critical... it's just that if your intent is to take senior portraits etc and wish to do them as 'environmental" portraits (which is the big thing now) then you need to really watch the background for stuff like that... it can really make or break the sale. Once you take a quick reference image, look carefully in the LCD screen for these types of things.... and then reposition if necessary !

Okay... either the forum fairies are stealing my posts or I am losing my mind. I know I posted last night after Caro, because I told her she should forget work and chat with the Gundi Girls instead. Then again, that is just how my day was yesterday. If it could go wrong, it pretty much did. Cross your fingers and whisper a prayer for me that today is better. I was so stressed out by the end of the day. So I turned my machines off, opened up PSP and scrapped a page. And I felt much better :D

I got this email and I have been making my kids do most of these, they seem logical so we are doing them!

While you are still healthy and not showing any symptoms of H1N1 infection,
in order to prevent proliferation, aggravation of symptoms and development
of secondary infections, some very simple steps, not fully highlighted in
most official communications, can be practiced (instead of focusing on how
to stock N95 or Tamiflu):

1. Frequent hand-washing (well highlighted in all official communications).

2. "Hands-off-the-face" approach. Resist all temptations to touch any part
of face (unless you want to eat, bathe or slap).

3. *Gargle twice a day with warm salt water (use Listerine if you don't
trust salt). *H1N1 takes 2-3 days after initial infection in the throat/
nasal cavity to proliferate and show characteristic symptoms. Simple
gargling prevents proliferation. In a way, gargling with salt water has the
same effect on a healthy individual that Tamiflu has on an infected one.
Don't underestimate this simple, inexpensive and powerful preventative
method.

4. Similar to 3 above, *clean your nostrils at least once every day with
warm salt water. *Not everybody may be good at Jala Neti or Sutra Neti (very
good Yoga asanas to clean nasal cavities), but *blowing the nose hard once a
day and swabbing both nostrils with cotton buds dipped in warm salt water is
very effective in bringing down viral population.*

5. *Boost your natural immunity with foods that are rich in Vitamin C (Amla
and other citrus fruits). *If you have to supplement with Vitamin C tablets,
make sure that it also has Zinc to boost absorption.

6. *Drink as much of warm liquids (tea, coffee, etc) as you can. *Drinking
warm liquids has the same effect as gargling, but in the reverse direction.
They wash off proliferating viruses from the throat into the stomach where
they cannot survive, proliferate or do any harm.
Neti pots and sinus rinse kits are available at the drug store and
relatively inexpensive..under $15.

:
One step at a time, please! :D

Do you want to laugh AT me?

Well.... here I was sitting at my desk, working on my NKOTB LO. I decided that I had best stop for 5 mins, write out 4 checks (for bills) and get them mailed. So I did that, and I even decided that while I was at it, I would go mail them too. I get back from the post office and grab a glass of ice water, and return to my desk... I get all comfy, look at my screen and stare at it for a few mins trying to decide my next move on my LO. I reach out with my right hand for my tablet pen, and I start making some fixes (erasing on a layer mask). I was getting so mad trying to figure out why the heck my erasing wasn't working. I look to the left... yep, eraser is my chosen weapon... look to the right, yep I'm on the right layer... then WHAT is my problem?

Oh yes, the problem was very CLEARLY DISPLAYED when I looked DOWN at my TABLET!!

Can you even guess what the *&^%$&* I did??? Ahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!

Ah yes..... only I would do this.

Go ahead... laugh. It *is* funny!

Crys, PLEASE take it out of the box and look at the FREE stuff in the box with it :yikes: Do NOT purchase the class if you have the silver tablet because it's free. Yep!! I already had my layer selected, my weapon chosen, etc... when I had stopped earlier.. so all I needed to do was grab my pen and keep fixing/erasing..... I didn't realize I had picked up my red ball point pen!! (I use it in my book thingy to cross off bills paid for the month). So now... I have red pen all over my tablet!! LOLOLOL!!!!!

I almost did that before with my blue one... but it actually wouldn't even write on my tablet... weird that the red one did!

Oh well... it looks all creative now!

Laura, people do that all the time at work, we use just the alcohol swabs and it comes right off. I have been tempted more than once to use a regular pen. I did something similar w/ mine.

Yay Heather about Ethan! Excellent! So you need to push the have a hunting buddy right next door with Darin. :D

I think I will try gargling etc, but not the neti pot. I can barely stand doing a nasal spray, ugggggh! ;)

Ahhhhhh Josh just came up to me out of the blue and said "Mom you are so beautiful." :love2::love2::love2::love2::love2:

Laura, people do that all the time at work, we use just the alcohol swabs and it comes right off. I have been tempted more than once to use a regular pen. I did something similar w/ mine. I could NOT figure out why my paint brush wasn't working, did the same thing checked my tool, layer, no selection etc, then I realized I had the pen upside down and on mine that erases instead of paints.

Awwww! Isn't Joshie just the sweetest thang? BTW, I love the picture on the Large Masks with your kids making "kissy faces". Too cute.

Has anybody here ever used a neti pot. I have seen them, read about them but can't even imagine using one. ugh! Heather that was a good list of "preventative care tips". Are you feeling any better Chris? I hope so.

OR if you've already made the purchase go ahead and just mail that free class GC to me :rofl::rofl: (I didn't get the silver one)

no I wish I were, we have a Halloween party at the church tonight and making a salad for a funeral and a ball game on Saturday and I was supposed to go to the temple tomorrow. Plus I was going to start on the 2nd Cobalt kit (speaking of which do you guys want Cobalt or Wee William after Fall Flair and after Alizarin Moments?) annnnnnnnnnd I am sure there are many more things on my list. See I can't even think very straight cuz my head is so full of guck. Had to go to work this am too, :(

Back to Alizarin it is on the way into the store, oh my heck! I LOVE it LOVE it LOVE it!!!! So up next is Fall Flair, then Alizarin, then what? I need to get whatever that one is done so I can give you it for the bonus with Alizarin. It makes it a little harder to work ahead this way. What do you guys think so far? Okay... either the forum fairies are stealing my posts or I am losing my mind.

Have a happy Wednesday, friends!
So wishing I could have scrapped my bad day away yesterday! It was a total loss! Started out to take care of the kids CD's (finally) to find out that DH had never actually called the bank and we didn't have all the documentation we needed to prove they were our kids! Start back home to get it and get into a 45 minute fight with DH because I said the wrong thing about it and he decided I was being mean! Finally get lunch and head back to the bank where it takes 2 hours to open the new CDs. I have to bring everyone home and go back out! Need to exchange the Cub Scout hat I bought because it's too small and go buy groceries (not happening in my mood with the whole brood tagging along and DH agreed they really needed run time). No hat available, forgot part of the groceries, and spent our entire weeks budget at one store! OK, I did stock the freezer pretty good while I was at it, but golly it was expensive this trip. Good news, they called and the hat shipment came in and I was right next door so actually got the hat taken care of. (the only thing that did go right!)

I was so glad to come home, have dinner and do nothing more than watch TV and attach patches to the Cub Scout shirts!

But if she just got up with it this morning, she wasn't out of the window yet! And since this is her second bout with it, seems she could really use the anti-virals and knock it out for good!

She woke up with the sore throat yesterday morning, so if she was able to get into the doctor tomorrow, it would still be more than 48 hours into it, so that's past the window for the antivirals to work. When I had the flu 2 years ago, that's what my doctor told me.

well if in fact it is viral, the antivirals don't actually kill it and "save" you. They mostly just get you done w/ symptoms about 2 days sooner. And that stuff is STINKIN' EXPENSIVE! I honestly don't know if my insurance covers it or not, but lots of them aren't because people will get better with or without it, but maybe with 2 more days of symptoms. I actually started symptoms yesterday am, the thing that is so hard to judge is I have horrid allergies, so if I get stuffy or a sore throat, lots of times it is my allergies flaring up. By the time I figure out it is a sickness not allergies I am past the time they can do anything if it is viral. So usually my course of action, give it 5-7 days, do ibuprofen, pseudoephedrine etc and if I am not improving by then go in and get an antibiotic.

and yes you can get the flu twice. viruses by nature are very persnickety and mutate at an alarming rate at times. That is why you should get a flu shot every year (virus) but an MMR or DPT etc (bacterial) will last you years and years.

but it helps to know you all are wishing me well.

ugggg and my camera too, I just always get nervous cleaning electronics. Oh! that reminds me, last year after Christmas, one of Lexi's friends (yes it was a boy, but not boyfriend) got either a Touch or an iPhone for Christmas and decided he would clean the fingerprints off by PUTTING IT IN THE SINK UNDER RUNNING WATER!!!!!

Seriously?!!! my FIVE year old knows that electronics and water don't mix, you would think a seventh grader would have that figured out!

Wow, that's crazy!!!

Seriously? Mine know that too. I just use clorox wipes on everything, they don't get wet enough to ruin and they're all clean:). I should buy stock in clorox I buy enough.

Don't you just love Clorox wipes!!! They're great for everything almost!

well I don't know if it is true or not, but Lexi said he seemed genuinely surprised that it had ruined it

I don't know if they will or not, but maybe. Plus I really need more pics of them. The only ones I have are from vacations and holidays. They hate it when I pull out the camera for no "special" reason.

Yes it is a bag kit for sueya so that means our stitchie is up next. Well at least sorta cuz there were 2 in between but I don't have pics for them yet :)

Rene did u miss the question about what we should do after alizarin. I figures u would be waving the pom poms about for cobalt. LolOf course maybe I missed the answer. :D

Yeah, you missed it. I said it didn't really matter to me this time because I want to do both of those. Shana wants to do Wee William. She posted right after me, so I don't know if you saw that or not either. If I HAD to choose, I would pick cobalt, but I have photos for both and want to do both, so I'm gonna be easy this time. :D

Well, if you get it out of the box we will all cheer!

I'm stealing this to make WA and put it on a LO!

Sorry about your bad day, Lisa. Does it help to know I was having an equally bad day on the opposite coast? yeah, probably not. Yesterday was a much better day for me, hopefully for you too.

Crys... Is it out of the box yet?

Lisa, as soon as I wrote that, I started planning a LO in my head! The mind of a scrapper! Maybe you can do a quote challenge for Sunday Scrappers ;)

I really really hate to go to the doctor, it bugs me to pay them to tell me what I already know. :annoyed:

I am totally with you on that!

She woke up with the sore throat yesterday morning, so if she was able to get into the doctor tomorrow, it would still be more than 48 hours into it, so that's past the window for the antivirals to work. When I had the flu 2 years ago, that's what my doctor told me.

Are they even giving Tamiflu to otherwise "healthy" patients where you are? I talked to some people this weekend who had been to the doc and were told to just treat the symptoms. THey were only prescribing Tamiflu to young children and elderly. My DD woke up sick this morning. She has a bad headache and sore throat. No fever yet. :(

ugggg and my camera too, I just always get nervous cleaning electronics. Oh! that reminds me, last year after Christmas, one of Lexi's friends (yes it was a boy, but not boyfriend) got either a Touch or an iPhone for Christmas and decided he would clean the fingerprints off by PUTTING IT IN THE SINK UNDER RUNNING WATER!!!!!

OMG, CHRIS!! Awesome kit! I'm off to update my wishlist. I finished 7 pages with Fall Flair! :yippee: It is seriously one of my favorite kits of all time. I'm mad at myself for not getting the VC, but I was trying to pinch my pennies. I never guessed I'd do that many pages. I don't think I have ever made 7 pages with just one kit.

I need to get whatever that one is done so I can give you it for the bonus with Alizarin. It makes it a little harder to work ahead this way. What do you guys think so far? Just my seasonal flu shot. The last I heard they didn't have the H1N1 shot yet, and the pharmacist didn't seem to know when that would be. The pharmacy I went to said they were not going to administer it because they would have to have a full time person just for the paperwork since it is so extensive. But the 24 hour pharmacies here in town are going to I think.

I just uploaded close to 200 photos from our marching band competition on Saturday. I don't know what was going on with my metering. Some turned out fantastic and some were a bit blown out. Here are a couple of my favorites....

Check out the reflection in the horn. You can see the kids in their circle formation for warmups. I thought that was cool.

and how's this for a trophy!?

Thanks guys! Funny story about the reflection photo... The middle school band director was with us that day. She's a really cool lady. She came up to me at some point later in the day and told me that she had noticed that reflection when they were in circle warming up. She wanted to tell me to come shoot it, but something distracted her and she didn't get to tell me at the time. I was bummed because I thought that would have been a great shot. Well, imagine my surprise when I am processing my photos and come across this shot that I didn't even know I captured. I literally screamed! I can't wait to email her a copy of it.

You know what! I think that's exactly what I'm going to do!!!!!! So hold off doing (or at least don't upload) the LO. I'll make that the next challenge, so it will be in two more weeks!

Stichie - Wow! You really are doing a fantastic job with those photos! I'm sure realizing you had captured that reflection just made your day1

Crys - please don't be mad at Chris! She didn't know because I was sneaky! Be mad at me for knowing how to ask so that someone would answer! And believe me, you guys have really made this birthday something special! Now Heather has added in her GC, so between 3 of you I can shop til I drop, and thanks to Carolyn's gift and those I can scrap til I (oh, can't think of a good rhyme, just one I really don't want to use ). You guys are awesome even though I told at least 2 of you not to do what you did!

Gonna stop now so I don't cry!

If you do Autumn Flair you get zippo, Fall Flair however is a different story. OK so here is the synopsis that you can only find here in the Chatting w/ Gundi thread :D

Tomorrow I will post the challenge for Fall Flair 1, bonus will be Alizarin 2, then the next week will be Alizarin 1, with a who knows what bonus, cuz I am too sick to design at the moment.

Speaking of sick, I am sorry to say that Nicole and I are going to cancel tonight. Her whole family is sick and my SIL (who is an MD) was going to come over tonight to see Z cuz of his birthday anyway, so she is going to listen to my lungs, which at the moment are too tight to even breathe properly, despite using my inhaler. I am betting she says it is just a virus and get some rest, but if not she will call in an rx to dh so he can bring it home. We will resume 2 Crazy Chicks in two weeks, just like normal.
