So how do I look at all items that are keyworded "blue"?

Christine
01-29-2010, 04:10 PM
ohhhhh I text my bro, and he said "your a disgrace sis... you have family there and you have no idea where SHELDON is?" ... ooops....

I'm a disgrace to the family?!

He's lucky that I know he's totally messing with me and doesn't really mean that I'm a disgrace.. or else I might cry. LOL... or kick his butt and tell daddy on him too.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Got it. I'll change the file name. Thanks! You rock!

yep that is what I was going to suggest

see how lazy I am.. I just did purple, pink and orange ....

Im telling ya.. if Christine made a dinosaur and she put PINK in the file name.. than it's PINK as far as my bridge is now concerned... ROTFL!!!! My keyword says so... hehe

LOL so glad to know I am the "expert" :D

I just think it's a great and VERY fast way to get some bulk keywording done! I mean.. really.. sure you want your red feathers to be coded RED.. but you'll want your red papers to be RED too... and frames, etc.. so why not do all at ONCE.. :-)

The only problem with red is it comes up in other stuff too like coveRED, so at least peruse thru and make sure you don't have any weirdos

yup and if keyword has a problem with it, I'll send it over to talk to Christine.. LOL!!

I did my shapes today... imagine that... all circles got keyworded in a matter of 2 mins.... loveeee it!

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Oh yay! about the circles and just so you know I have some CIRCLE stitching that is just about done, which I am sure you will want to add :D

Dang I don't know why but I am freezing!

So how do I look at all items that are keyworded "blue"?

you can go into the filters panel and there is a section that says blue or whatever OR if you are searching thru mass folders, I think it is under edit, it says find. You can search for file names/ keywords/ whatever floats your boat

Yeah, I just now figured it out.

But I just don't know that mine is working right, everything seems so super slow everytime I go from one SC to another-like it's reindexing or something.

>>aruaL<<
01-29-2010, 04:15 PM
Or you can go to your keyword list... and click on "blue".. right click.. and click "find"

I just do mine in the FOLDERS area instead.. not in the SC area.

OK, I read all those pages to find out that it's 90% about smart collections, which I really do need to play with and get going, but of course I just don't ever seem to find the time, but if I did I might actually get some scrapping done, which I only managed 2 pages for the entire month of January! And if any of you can read that and make sense of it then I need to find a way to reward you! So, I guess thanks for sharing all that great info, and maybe someday I will take the time to put it to good use!!!!!

 Hi Gundi Girls

I feel like I've been to hell and back, but finally think I've changed my round trip ticket to a one way ticket out of hell. I've only reached the first station on a very long trip I think, but I'm relieved that I'm travelling in the right direction now.

I'm sorry I have not been posting or keeping up with everyone. I'm hoping that you are all well.

I would appreciate all the prayers / good thoughts anyone has to spare.

TIA.... and chat soon.

glad to see you back.. hope all is going well ......

you guys have been AMAZING with the SC chatter... so now everyone's all organized, drunk on caffeine ( either in coffee or soda) , snacked out, early breakfasted (3am you guys have GOTTA be kidding! ) and I think there is something else, but I just can't remember what !

wahooo Carolyn is back! I was just thinking this am, where did Carolyn go, did I miss her doing something fun :Dnahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. nothing fun...just a wicked week at work and have been completely knackered when I get home, so have had these VERY OLD BONES in bed by 830 most of the week.. did i tell you guys I did a maternity photo shoot a couple Fridays ago? We were joking that night about waiting so long.. the baby being due 2-11...and if we had waited longer I'd be shooting the birth? well, the little man made a surprise arrival 2 days later ! So I was really pretty close to shooting the birth. eeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.... but now I have a new model to play with who can't run away.. haha.

I've been thinking over options for this years vacation... and three things keep floating to the top of my swampy little mind...and in no particular order... Yosemite or Yellowstone, Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam/Vegas with a possible side trip to Zion, and flying into Salt Lake City and driving through the rockies to Colorado...

Seeing as how I want to go everywhere and see everything my list is endless and mind- boggling...

My daughter leaves in 2 weeks for her trip to Thailand (3 week vacation) and needless to say i am jealous! right now her biggest issue is the correct bug spray.. I'm thinking the critters are ferocious and malaria bearing.. gasp! I get left with the task of remembering to feed the lizard ! sigh...

somehow my gundi girl flair got kinda jaggy around the edges and I have noticed that some are and some aren't. I do NOT get that, but since Rene did such a GREAT job for us, I figured none of us should have jaggies so we could show off our awesome Rene flair in all its glory. :D So I fixed it up and reloaded. yay for Salt Lake! just don't come in June cuz I will probably be gone a good chunk of it :D all of those sound so awesome though

how did I know you would WOOT for SLC??? LOL!

It would not be June anyway...
I'm thinking more late summer- early fall.....I tend to travel more in the "off' season.. less crowded, kids back in school, hotels/campgrounds less congested, better accomadation rates, I love the fall colors and the sun is bit softer, flights are generally less expensive and /or easier to book, ... if I do any of these , I'll be shipping some camp gear into local UPS store for pickup and will do a camp/hotel trip- what better way to see the sights than to be right IN THEM... ( did I mention that I travel as cheaply as humanly possible? rather have my money for things I want to do rather than a room I am not in more than 5 hours ! )So there is a lot to think about.

And being the good mom I am, I will invite my off spring to accompany me, which they will probably decline as camping would not be their idea of fun.... but wil then see the pics and wonder why they didn't go !

ok note to self, do not go visit Carolyn right now.  :DOMG NO!!! It's so darn cold.. no snow to brighten it up... just cruddy looking, sand filled streets... every road around here was black ice this morning. i actually slid through an intersection and into the parking lot opposite...and i was cruising along at about 3 MPH... THAT was an early-morning-get-your-heart-pumping jolt !

You will be amazed at Cowboy Stadium! That sounds like fun! I love Joni!

WE love B & B's.... But, each one is different...so, when you call up you have to ask how their's is run..

for example.. MOST of the one's in Fredericksburg - well, they don't feed you breakfast.. oh, no.. they give you a coupon for breakfast at one of the many places to eat in town.. - so they get you up and shopping early ... that's the only place I know that does that.

Some near beachy areas - only feed you say a continental breakfast - so you can get up and out to the beach quick..

but, most really pride themselves on a good homemade breakfast - they ask you over the phone if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. or any food you just can't or won't eat for a normal breakfast (say because of religious reasons or whatever)... and, then they post the next day's breakfast - say on a chalkboard.. near the dining hall.

It's really nice to chat to the others in residence... you get to meet new people, find out where they are from....

but, still go your seperate ways (or not) after breakfast.

we've met some really interesting people.. some really cool friends..

and, some B & B's we go back to over and over again... just because of the host and hostesses..

and, most we go to are in rural towns.. so, lots of photo ops.. and, talking to the people at the B & B's you can get some great ideas for photos.. that you never would have known about.. and the history of the town as well..
(oh, and the movie stars that live in these towns.. you know how many movie stars live in rural Texas - well, here is your source!)...

Hey Sands! Glad to have you back.

Carolyn, your vacation plans sound wonderful, though I'd have to agree with your kids... camping isn't my thing either. I know that is not a popular opinion, but that's me. Whew, I'm glad you didn't hit anything sliding through the intersection. That's scary.

Well it started snowing earlier than expected last night. There was maybe 2 inches on the ground when I went to bed. Unfortunately when I woke up I could "hear" the precipitation. What a let down. It changed over to sleet and rain, which is what it's still doing now. It's supposed to changed back and forth through the day. DS is going to be sorely disappointed when he wakes up.

DS is going to be sorely disappointed when he wakes up. :cry:When I travel, I really do try/need to travel the best I can on a limited budget. My needs are simple.. access to a bed of some sort, a shower/toilet .. , and an electric outlet ( to plug in my computer so I can download my pics) The rest pretty much handles itself. I would much rather have my money to do/see the things I'm interested in .. and feed myself when I remember to do so. And I can sleep anywhere, anytime, on anything, and sleep well, so... ( my mother says my ability to sleep like that is a gift.. haha) When I went to Alaska, I was there for 10 days and brought the trip total to just a hair over 900.00 including accomadations, car rental, food, all tours, gas, food, souvenirs (and shipping same home), entrance fees... the only thing I dont include in that is the flight as I had booked and paid for it months prior.. but if you include it then the total trip was a bit under 1300. I generally don't include the airfare as for me to go anywhere, that is a necessity which I plan for separately.

Yea, when snow turns to sleet/slush it stinks.. that's what we've been having here for a few days. UGH! Nothing pretty about it..just cold and miserable.

We used to stop at Fredericksburg often when I was a kid on the way back from seeing my uncle and aunt in Corpus Christie. I don't know how long you've been going there, but do you remember a restaurant called Fenner & Beans? It's not there any more, but we used to always eat at it. It specialized in beans and cornbread! We loved going there. Fredericksburg is such a neat little town. We would also get peaches there in the summer and my mom would make homemade peach icecream and pies with them. Yummy! Good times!

It stopped snowing here yesterday early afternoon. It's probably going to melt off a lot today. The sun is out today.

Oh, can't wait.. Rene is coming to visit me in March for a photo safari! The Lady Bird Johnson Center is having their annual TEXAS Wildflower show from March thru May... and hopefully with the rain we had this past winter - we'll have a great showing of blooms..

then, we can stop by Zilker Gardens too! A photo safari!

Yippe... I get to see Rene... Yippee....

Yay!!!! I can't wait!!!! We'll have a blast!! And I can see my sweet aunts when I come too!!! :yippee::yippee::yippee:

When I travel, I really do try/need to travel the best I can on a limited budget.

Wow, that's a great price for the hotel, food and everything!!! Good job you!!!

Robin would probably be cool with it, but the boys... think beach, babes, bikinis and bars and you pretty much have their basic requirements.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: Boys will be boys.

Rene, that place in Frederickburg is not called Fenner & Beans - but still there - and still severing the best chili, cornbread and peach cobbler around..

I don't know the name - but you can't miss it.. it's on the main drag...

and, Yippee.. can't wait to set the exact date for your visit...

I haven't been through there in several years.

I'm thinking late March - after all the Spring Breaks are over with and the kiddies are back in school everywhere or maybe early April. G will be busy with appraisal season, and unless I have to help him this year (I don't think I will since I'm not on the new owner's payroll, so G won't let me) I will be all alone all day and evening every day, so that would be a good time.

I was bummed about the snow turning to sleet, but after being out sledding, I can't say it's not so bad. We have the best hill in the neighborhood right in front of our house and the snow sleet mixture made for some really fun sledding. Pictures to follow...

it is currently cold enough here that should you be outdoors and spit, it will hit the ground as ice....

I tried to use the windshield wipers last week, but the liquid froze to the windshield before the blades could come across.

It's Sattuuuurdddaaaayyyyy.... already. Can you even believe that?? AND, right around the tight corner will be FEBRUARY!! ALREADYY!!

Over the next several months we have some 'big' celebrations coming up... ds turning 13, I'm turning *gasp* 40, our 20th wedding anniversary, DD graduating high school ..... sooo we are trying to decide if we want to do a couple small trips to fun places or do we want to do one big one and go out of the country for a vacation. I haven't been out of the country except to Mexico, and I don't really count that..... lol. DD wants to go to Ireland.... interesting choice. I want to go to Australia. DH wants to go to Italy and DS doesn't care where we go he just wants to GO!

So since it's Saturday AND almost February, I need to really start thinking seriously about this.

I am also submitting housing apps n stuff to the University that DD will most likely be going to *makes me kinda pukey!!*.

Soooo ... if you were desperately wondering "what is laura doing today?"... ROTFL.. now you KNOW.. haha.

I am with you, Carolyn. We went camping twice. Doug was certain we would LOVE it, because he did. If I was Doug I would love it too, but I am not Doug. I am the slave.

Doug, "Let's go camping for our vacation this year."

Translation:

Before: I clean the camper, make the beds, stock the pantry and fridge with food.

During: I cook the meals and wash the dishes. We stay in dusty places where everyone is sitting outside swilling beer, with their dogs tied to a tree. Dogs bark all night long. (Hmmmmm.....why didn't we bring our dogs? That would have really been a jewel in the crown of a horrible vacation). And Oh joy! I get to bathe in a bathroom the size of a refrigerator box.

After: I clean the camper and carry all the leftover food out. Wash the clothes and linens that were used during the week.

Excuse me, when was the vacation?

Didn't momma teach you no secrets in the class unless your willing to share them with everyone else??

Ohhh speaking of.... this kid in DD's class has a HUGE crush on DD. So teacher is talking science with them and out of the corner of his eye he sees 3 kids or so having a ruckus going on. Teacher asked them what the heck was going on (altho he didn't say it so nicely... he's a foul teacher... ) and the girl in the midst of it says "Dave is trying to get Ryan to give this note (as she holds it up) to Kaylin (my dd) but he's a sorry shot and it landed on my desk instead". Teach says "oh really Mya? How about you read this note that Dave wrote to Kaylin and lets see what Dave has to say?".... My dd was like 'huh? what? whats going on?" ... she's oblivious to it all. Mya starts to read the note... and my DD was so embarrassed (jerky teacher). The note was really long, a letter actually, and it told her how he has liked her since 'you moved here in 2003. we were on thanksgiving break and your family moved here with a big 18wheeler. you were standing outside watching the movers unload your stuff when my dad and i drove by.... " and he goes on and on. DD is now laughing hysterically over it..... she had no idea the boy likes her. She doesn't like him (thank goodness) but finds it sweet... and funny.

So... Lisa.... should we read the 'note' to the class?? Hmmm?? LOL

I take that extra page that comes with each kit - you know, the one that has everything in the kit on one page - I put 6 of those on each page and print them. Then I put them in a huge 3 ring binder I got from Costco.

Laura, think laura think

is that the "green" thing to do.. .ask your kids..

to print out every preview... now, I ask you.. is that "green"

Ok, but, if you have to - Tina Chambers - was sick-ish one day - and did print out mini sized contact sheets - 9 to a page

had them laminated.

then after she cut them apart, she put a tiny hole in the top of each

bought those tiny key chains - and put say all of Christine's kits together
Marcee's, Lauren's, etc..

so, there's a way to go.. if you like that idea.

but, I do like your various vacation choices... I love all of them... all on my bucket list!!

When I travel, I really do try/need to travel the best I can on a limited budget.

And what she doesn't tell you is that most of the entrance fees that we went on with kids in tow she paid for us as well as herself! We did hit the Zoo at just the right time and got in amazingly cheap, but still, she paid her way plus all 5 of us!

I do really love going though and I prefer it over hotels.. but not while Im doing all the work. DH said this Summer he will do it all.... every bit of it. Yah, we'll see.

My DD would be mad if I wasn't 'green'... she's very environmentally friendly. She gets on us all the time.... :love2:

Hmmm?? LOL

Ok, so how do you find things...like if you need a wood frame..or a pink dinosaur?

I'm totally loving learning how others do their scrapping/organizing!

haha, I don't know how Fran does it, but I just open up Picasa or windows explorer and start looking  I'm a pretty simple scrapper and don't mix kits much though so I can really say I spend a lot of time searching for things. I also have a Favorites folder, in addition to my folders by designer. In it I have folders for favorite kits, overlays, masks and elements. So certain pieces that I use often are in an easy to find spot. Probably not the best organization, but hey, it works for me.

Oh honey, I was not joking. We sold our camper last year. We went camping twice --- that was two more times that I wanted to go.

:lol::lol: I'm glad I'm not the only non-camper.

What can I be the queen of? I need to be queen of something if Debi is the organization queen, you are the mojito queen and Fran is the pee queen.

Oh I know, I'll be the Queen of Pink!!! Woot!

Have we previously had this conversation, because suddenly I'm having de'ja vu.

Oh, but I love PINK and so does RENE!

along with a list of BD's, anniversary's, etc...

Ok, Fran...

Step one.

Double click on the program called

ADOBE BRIDGE CS4

Step 2

Do you want more detailed instructions

look on the right side of your bridge panels and you will see Folders.

I know you think I am kidding, but I'm not. The few times I have accidentally clicked on Adobe bridge I thought, "Wonder what in the heck that is for......" then I would X out. All of my Adobe books are on things like restoration, retouching, blending modes, and layers; so they do not mention Adobe bridge. I did not have a clue what it was for. I thought about googling it a time or two, but I never did.

I have to go get ready for church right now, but when I get back I will click on it. Rats, after church I have to buy groceries, but after THAT, I will click on it.

or like pm me or we could set up a chat

I could walk you thru it in not time flat...

it's in Laura's words.. easy peasy...

Why are you not scrapping right now?

Because... I don't have a hard drive

I can however - for whatever reason

read email

and, get to the internet

but, once I try to say open any other application

my mac fails

but, I know the problem - It's a hard drive failure

I have to take it into a Best buy - and a friendly geek squad guy will not only replace my hard drive, but also transfer all my data over

at least the data that's good.

I knew something was starting to go wrong for the past couple of weeks.. but, I couldn't figure it out.

until bam.. the hard drive just up and told me

I'm failing, please contact your local apple store..

isn't that nice that it just told me...

but, that's AFTER I reloaded my darn operating system
and, all my adobe products

which took about 2 full days.. since my darn hard drive was failing

lucky for me.

the only stuff on my hard drive is the
operating system and programs

all my digital stuff and my photos are on an ehd

and, I have all my stuff - both the hard drive and the EHD

backed up 3 times..

so, I'm as safe I guess as you can be

and, I've checked - my EHD seems to be fine

my backup seems to be fine

and, i'm leaving my old backup alone

but, I need Keith to help me drag this big thing to the local best buy
with a IMAC 27 inch monitor - the whole darn thing is in the monitor
and, I don't want to risk dropping it

so, he of course had to bowl and teach his kids yesterday.

and, doesn't have time for me yet today...

maybe tomorrow..

but, if I try to open cs4 or bridge, I can do it..

but, my system is sooooo slow... forget it

so, there is that the long winded answer you wanted

so, in between all the operating system loads, the adobe re loads, the disk repairs, and other things i've tried to get my system back up

that's where I've had the time, to spiffy up my house

so, today... it's off to the Closets.. yuck.. was so hoping to avoid them..

they are pretty bad... but, everything else is done.. nothing else to do...

and, it's way cold outside.

can, you tell I'm pretty darn bored.

Here you go Christine:

Straight for Wikipedia:

Mojito (pronounced /moʊˈhiːtoʊ/; Spanish: [moˈxito]) is a traditional Cuban highball.
A Mojito is traditionally made of five ingredients: white rumsugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime, sparkling water and mint. The original Cuban recipe uses spearmint or "Yerba buena", a much lighter mint variety very popular in the island.[1][2] Its combination of sweetness, refreshing citrus and mint flavors are intended to complement the potent kick of the rum, and have made this clear highball a popular summer drink.[3][4]

My goal for the day is to scrap one page and then clean out my closet. I have my closet organized by short sleeve everyday shirts, long sleeve everyday shirts, TX Tech clothes, short, sweats, jeans, summer dressy clothes, winter dressy clothes.

:love2: My Omani wedding shoot was cancelled which I'm very relieved about. Gives me a few more extra days to sort my mood and inclination out.

I was bummed about the snow turning to sleet, but after being out sledding, I can't say it's not so bad. We have the best hill in the neighborhood right in front of our house and the snow sleet mixture made for some really fun sledding. Pictures to follow...

Saw your pics Mich, wish I was there to take part!

Exciting choices..... how will you decide?

Ohhh speaking of.... this kid in DD's class has a HUGE crush on DD.

Wow, how insensitive of the teacher! Hope it hasn't scarred the poor boy for life, and so glad your DD help with the situation.

I am the mojito queen !

Ok.. I'm really getting tired of this.. I get here in the mornings and the breakfast fairy doesn't have breakfast here and ready for us gundi girls?? What the heck is up with that??

So Rene... you all keyworded now??

Sands.. I don't know how we'll decide.... DH has already been to Australia a million times with the military, he liked it there well enough but doesn't want to return for his family vacation necessarily. He's also been to Ireland a couple times, and Italy too. He'd like to go somewhere new. Thats hard to do though after 22 years of traveling the world. Sheeeeesh. For me and the kids, it's allllllll new. We didn't get as lucky as him! LOL .... I can't think of a place we want to go to that HE hasn't been to yet. He may just have to suck it up and quit the whining about it.... hehe.

I voted and guess what...

They picked my song for the lyrical challenge for this month.. this song means sooo much to me...

it's my Anne Murray.. and, it's can I have this Dance for the Rest of My Life..

On Our First date - after my husband took me to the coolest place for dinner,
we went to a piano bar, where he knew the piano man... and asked him to play this song...

then He asked me to dance.. and He - my husband - not the piano man... sang this song in my ear...

And, the next nite he asked me to marry him... I told him he was crazy.. go some where else.. but he was crafty.. and lined up all of these cool dates..

and, we were married 6 months later... And, every anniversary we dance to this song... (we have the cd of course)..

hmm, why I'm I so irritated with him today.. well, can't be any more...

I love him... he's so cool.. it will be 28 years in just a couple of months..

:love2: My Omani wedding shoot was cancelled which I'm very relieved about. Gives me a few more extra days to sort my mood and inclination out.

was the whole wedding cancelled?? or postponed?

Saw your pics Mich, wish I was there to take part!

I wish you were too. I added a few more yesterday. It was so much fun. Today it's solid ice on the street, but the backyard is still in good sledding condition.

Mich, not the whole wedding was cancelled, just me :D. A friend of the bride had arranged for a photographer as her wedding gift. Suits me perfectly because I was very worried that I wouldn't give them what they are used to. They are used to getting their photos printed in a hard cover book and each page has a collage of photos on it. Not something I can whip up!

What about New Zealand? Or what about one of those all-inclusive beach resorts like Beaches? Do ya'll like the beach? I've never been to one of them, but all-inclusive sounds nice.

Im not much of a beach person really... I grew up on the beach so it's just not as exciting to me as it is to others. I'd personally prefer a beautiful cabin in a mountain, woodsy area.... hanging around just being a family... no touristy stuff, no cells, no computers (), no television. hehe

:DAfter I did the SC's for feathers and flowers (separate) I went back to the SC and keyworded each flower and feather with the color they were, because lots of times I want to search by color. I'm going to set aside a bit of time everyday for keywording, but it will take forever. :(

I would take me 10 X Forever!

Oh, la la...

bought Keith's valentine gift today

2 nights at the B & B of his choice... yippee....

I think that gift is for both of us!!

And, we are going up to Dallas in early February... he going to take another BOWLING class - boring..

but, we are going to the Dallas cowboy stadium.. and, I hope to meet up with Joni.. and go thru the Dallas botantical gardens... and other things... yippe..

can't wait.

Sounds like fun! My DH wouldn't stay at a B & B on a bet! :(

OMG NO!!!

:yikes: :yikes: :yikes: Glad you're ok!

 unless I win the lotto, i won't be able to make it. But it sure would be awesome.

It's great that you can budget your travels so well. And even better that you can sleep anywhere. That is a gift I DO NOT have. And when I don't get my sleep I get really grouchy

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

If you win, please take me with; that's probably the only way I would get there, too! :worried: :worried:

I would love smart collections, but I am smart collection illiterate.

YAY! Someone in my league! :D

Fran, I am so printing this and handing it to DH. I'm not even jokin'.... we just had this 'discussion' AGAIN recently... we have a gorgeousssssss 32 foot motorhome that doesn't get used much. He was in the military and deployed a LOT so it didn't get used but once a year or so for a long vacation across the country. However, now he's out of the military and we still don't use it much... WHY you may ask? Your answer is in your own post.

I am at the point that I hate going because I get to be the family butler and maid. While they enjoying fishing or whatever, I'm thinking about and preparing or the next meal, cleaning up after the last one, etc..

Your post said it all. He says it's just ME.. that Im the only woman who complains about this... now I have proof I am NOT the only woman who complains about it.. well, unless your not a woman and you TOO *like Lisa* have something to share with the class??? Hmmmm????:rofl::rofl:

I'm with you both! If I have to cook, clean, wash dishes, I'm doing it in the comfort of my own home! ;)

Ok, Fran...

Step one.

Double click on the program called

ADOBE BRIDGE CS4

Step 2

Do you want more detailed instructions

look on the right side of your bridge panels and you will see Folders.

And what if you're stuck with CS3, Miss? :help: :help:

Gary will cook steak out on the grill a lot when we RV, and grilled corn (he's obsessed with grilled corn :D) so all I have to do is think about potatoes, not a big deal. I do hate washing the towels and sheets when we get back though. Once I unload it, I want to be done with it, but it doesn't work that way.

I stopped once I got the CS4. Now I'm all about the Smart Collections. I think I've done about 7 now. But the whole green thing, I'm not too concerned about it. All the global warming stuff, yeah right. How much snow have we gotten this year?

Wow!!! Yay Heather!!! You go girl!!!! I'm going to live my exercise aspirations vicariously through you!

Pen casserole. Hee hee.

I don't have to worry about my pen getting lost. It's still sitting in the exact same spot it was after Gary install the tablet on Christmas Day. But, I am signed up for the class and plan on starting it Feb 1. Yay me!

That will be fun. Guess what we're doing tonight? Meeting Drew's girlfriend.

I :love1: you too.

I need to help Drew with his taxes. He should be getting a refund. I'm thinking that will come in handy for him in the next few weeks. KWIM?

Laura was there too that day when we were being boring and uninteresting. Huh, Laura?

Ha! Ha! I'm not losing my pen, either. It's sitting right on my tablet, where it's been since the beginning. And, do I ever pick it up?  I so knew that was going to happen.

well we should get at least some back. We are like you claim zero on w4's. How the heck does that work out? We clearly are not zero. I wish we could claim mental anguish for all of the people trying to do my vehicles in. I would be getting a whopping return.

lololol I am lucky cuz my sweetie takes care of it mostly too. He just wanted the stuff from my designing etc and then he did his thing, but I CAN do them if I have to, just so much easier this way. :D

Ugggg I remember when I was in college, I did them by hand and we had employment from multiple jobs and states, plus a self employment business on the side etc. and seems like another complication or two. Now it is so nice w/ the software that is out cuz it basically asks questions. Did you do this? Did you do that? I think for most people it is pretty hard to mess it up. :D

My sweetie is tax impaired and please remember, this is ME we're talking about. :annoyed: But we have him retired with a pension and social security, owning a business; me working in one state and living in another. No way am I going to try tackling that stuff. You kow how I am. ;)

me over organized...

hey, that's your fault Laura

I was happy when my desktop was a mess.

You started that... you made me clean it up..

and, well, that lead to me, well cleaning up EVERYTHING...

well, one thing lead to another...

and, let's just say

not only are all my digital scrap supplies organized

so, is my desktop
my office
my kitchen
my Expired food is all gone
all old receipts are shredded - oops shredded too fast - had to buy a new one of those

my bathrooms
my dining room
my living room
my oven is sparkly
my linen closet couldn't be more in order
ok, I have 3 more closets..
and, I'm done

and, everything I own is organized

OMG! Please, please come to my house. I'll hang a B & B sign in the front yard. One which serves a homemade breakfast right there in the comfort of my home!

So I saw no mention of alcohol in miss caroD's drink so why r we questioning her abilities? What did I miss? Yes I know totally clueless about such things :)

She did NOT list the alcohol! (but it was kind of inherent in the *cocktail* ;))

:lol::lol: I thought that was part of the name not the alcohol. See! If you say anything that is not really common, plain stuff, ie. rum, vodka, whiskey, beer, gin, I think that is about the extent of my knowledge, all you will get from me is a blank stare. And actually I really don't even have a clue what is the difference between all of those things either, I just know they are types of alcohol.:rofl::rofl:

Besides why do I need Google, when I can just ask you guys on a variety of subjects and one of you will know! :D That's cuz the Gundi girls are the BEST!

RUM...RUM...RUM...was the alcohol. :D

Finally, I'm caught up! :applause: :applause: Now maybe I can do some work.

we established that yesterday.:love3::love3::love3:

yeah Debi didn't want to help me at all! ;)

I love him... he's so cool.. it will be 28 years in just a couple of months..

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

How you did that... you got your kit 2 already? Or did you not do the last challenge? I'm waiting on Christine to have a chance to send out kit 2 so I can start... I haven't a clue yet what I'm doing on it, but I love the kit!!

Been out w/ my honey bunny all day since it is his birthday. :D Posting the new challenge and sending out the bonuses is next on the things to do list.

Ummmmm..........:o I signed up; promptly became a dropout! :o

Me too! :D :D

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Crys, btw just cuz you don't have CS4 doesn't mean you can't do keywording. You just can't do the smart collections. :D

Thanks Sands!!! I will be sure to tell him, he and Zach are at the basketball game. They had a deal that if Zach got 10 rebounds in one of his game, they could go. He got 11 last game AND actually made a basket to help his team win 18-10 or something like that. Even got a certificate for being player of the game! He was so proud. :D We had a fun day, mostly just hanging out together, cuz he didn't have to work.

PHOTOGRAPHY! you silly..

your photos are simply amazing...

so, will you be my mentor...

My point is.... you already take great photos why would you need a mentor?

Im not much of a beach person really... I grew up on the beach so it's just not as exciting to me as it is to others. I'd personally prefer a beautiful cabin in a mountain, woodsy area.... hanging around just being a family... no touristy stuff, no cells, no computers (), no television. hehe

Sounds like my kind of holiday.... never thought it was because I grew up near the beach

Well Ethan is ok, he started acting normal after about a half hour. I kept him up for a couple hours and then he was pretty tired so I put him to bed. He woke up after an hour and cried and went back to sleep so I think he'll be fine. Thanks for all your concern!!

Debi I hope you get your HD working!

So glad he's ok Heather! He'll sure be a strong adult ;)

Crys, btw just cuz you don't have CS3 doesn't mean you can't do keywording. You just can't do the smart collections. :D

I'm confused.... I thought Crys did have CS3 :confused::confused::confused:

I think Christine meant CS4.... you can keyword in CS3 Bridge, just not smart collections. I first learned on CS3 Bridge with my MAC Elements 6.... and I kind promptly switched to CS4 and got CS4 Bridge and I was so happy to have smart collections when Debi taught them to me. It's like chocolate.... lol. Gotta have it!

Like you Sands, I too thought Crys had CS3... thought I read that here somewhere. I think she does, I think Christine just did a typo. I think. Maybe. Hmm. hehe

Crys also has a tablet, but.......

YAY for Zach!! Nice job on the rebounding! Happy birthday to Mr. Gundi and glad you two had a nice day together.

and ummm, Happy Groundhog Day! are we in for more winter? My kids are home yet again today. DH went out yesterday and said the roads in town were fine, but still a lot of ice on the back roads.

Laura I will trade you the cabin for the beach!! The cabin gets boring.

Crys I was wondering what a day mother was also and that was my guess. Glad you asked.

Chris tell DH happy belated wishes from me.

Sands glad you are excited to wath the little one. You will have lots of photo ops now.

I am riding the bike and it is hard. My heart is beating slower than when I run but I am sweating more. I only have 30 minutes left. Wish me luck.

if there was a GundiGirls' meeting somewhere that we had not been invited to.:yikes: :yikes:

go girl go!!! Drink lots of water :D

I lifted weights this am for 30 min, then Tyler gave me a KILLER swim set. I told him I needed one cuz dh and I went to Olive Garden for his birthday and I am quite certain fettucine alfredo is not on the approved training meal plan. So I swam 1900 yards in about 55 minutes. Some of those were kick sets or I would have been faster. One thing that was cool was he had five 100 yd free, FIVE of them, I just looked at him like really?!!! 500 breaststroke, no biggie, but I seriously suck at freestyle. I think it is my stupid iron makes it so I can't get enough air or something so I feel like I am going to die, but anyway, he is telling me you can do it, you can do it. Oh yeah and only 15 seconds rest in between the 100s.......well I DID IT!!! I was so proud of myself! Up until a month ago or so, I couldn't even do ONE 100 free. :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

yes sands it was a typo, I meant CS4 :D

YAY for Crys and HEather! You two make me tired, but I am so impressed with you both.

funny thing about the mountain cabin vs. beach question... We don't take a "vacation" every year. Most of our vacations are to visit family or friends. But when we go to a vacation destination, we have usually gone to the beach. Well a couple of years ago we decided we should do the mountain vacation instead. We went to the Smoky Mtns, rented a cabin, went white water rafting, horseback riding, saw the Fontana Dam. While we were at the cabin, we had no cell signal so no phones or computers. We spent our time relaxing, reading and playing cards. We had a good time and enjoyed some quality family time. However... we all agreed that we'd done the mountains and next vacation we rather go to the beach!

Chris great WO and I don't think your meal is approved either! :D

Michelle that sounds like a fun mountain vacation. We have no river, no dam and maybe horses sometimes. So we just sit there and watch the kids get SO dirty and chase them around so they won't get lost and wonder how the heck to clean them up. And and outhouse, I hate the outhouse. :D
